Deion will certainly have the respect of all the players.......3 rings, All Pro etc.

He would be a current generation mentor to the younger players.....not another dinosaur.

AND THE BEST PART....HE WILL FILL YOUR SOON TO BE EMPTY SEATS.

Just get him a good OC, you already have a good DC and let him lead, not be a play caller.

The press will love him, the fans will love him and the players will repsect and relate to him.

What else do you need a head coach to do?

This might be crazy enough to work. I think if we can keep Zimmer and Jackson as our DC and OC we'd be fine. If not bring in a proven OC and keep Jackson as our WR coach. I woulnd't be against it, like previously mentioned the players would respect him and IMO he is a good public speaker and could lead a team. Bring 'em home!

Maybe a little coaching experince and the want to put the time in as an assistance which he does not want to do.

How do you know?

Being one of NFL history's greatest defensive players is experience enough

A lot of current D coordinators dont know half of what Deion knows.

He can still read a offense in sec.

I think he would be a very hard nosed type coach, but someone players can talk to after the game.

Look. I would love Cowher too. But baring that. Deion has just as much experience and savvy as any current coordinator and a heck of a lot more experience with the media and in communications in general.

We tried the S.O.P. and it blew up in our face. Mora the coordinator, Petrino the tried and experienced Head Coach with a system.

What does a head coach really need to do. A CEO works to set the agenda, communicate it to his executives and is the front man for the "Stakeholders" as Blank aptly puts it

( players, coaches and fans and media). A good CEO is not the best Finance guy in the company, nor the best salesman, or technician. He's the guy that can mangae a team of professionals to acheive one goal.

You're problem is maybe Deion is TOO Flamboyant....gee, thats a real problem isnt it.
