Because it's never too early to talk 2008 when the team's this bad.

Can anyone explain the draft tiebreakers? Apparently the Rams are ahead of us according to SC on ESPN this am. They had Run DMC going to the Jets and the Rams took an OL, and us taking Ryan in the 4 slot...anyone understand the draft tiebreaker?

If the season ended today the order would be:

Miami Dolphins 3-10

NY Jets 3-10

Atlanta Falcons 3-10

St. Louis Rams 3-10

The St. Louis hold the tie-breaker against us because they beat us. NY Jets Strength of Schedule is better than the Falcons that is why they draft 2nd.

Sounds good to me...but ESPN SC had the Rams picking ahead of both the Jets and Falcons in their mock draft if the season ended today.

Strength of schedule has us right behind the Jets and Rams. It is determined by how many wins your opponents have.

Miami 1-13

St. Louis - Opponents wins 113

Jets - Opponents wins 116

Falcons - Opponents wins 117

We need minnesota to loose tonight.

Also, we need Tampa, NO, and Carolina to loose. If Carolina would have lost to Seattle it would have been.

St. Louis 115 Atlanta - 116 - Jets 116

Blasted Panthers!!

Your Right... That is why St. Louis gets the 2nd pick. Their opponents have the fewest wins, which means they have the easier schedule.

Every time Tampa, NO, and Carolina wins we get 2 more wins added to our opponents win total. So when they loose it helps us out more.

The Jets have the best chance of winning in the next 2 games.

St. Louis has: Pittsburgh & Arizona

Jets: Tennesee & KC.

Atlanta: Arizona & Seattle
