How many teams in NFL need QB in the 1st round?

Recommended Posts

Panties

Chicago

Atlanta

Tempa Bay (may be)

San Frans (may be)

QB List

a) Matt Ryan

B) Brian Brohm

c) Andre Woodson

d) Joe Falcco

Which means we would have a chance to draft a Good QB in 2nd Round? Why not take a BPA in 1st round?

You are leaving out:

1. Jets

2. Dolphins

3. Minn

If we can get a franchise QB, we should take that player. It all depends on the coach and how complicated the offense is for the QB. You cannot just plug someone into a QB intensive offense like Bengals, Colts, Patriots, Philly, etc. But you can into a Pittsburgh or Baltimore.

I like to trade down and draft as many players as possible this draft and start a real building process.

Id say carolina, miami and the jets are the only teams that might go with 1st round qb's, the rest are pretty set, for another year, and are gonna try and add the peices they need to make the playoffs and more

Bucs, Bears, vikings, ravens have decent starters, and could look to get a qb in the second round.

Bears or ravens might go after mcnabb. mcnabb on the ravens would put them close to the top in the afc.

Detroit has kitna and drew stanton(2nd rd pick), kitna will be the starter next season, and if he fails stanton will get his shot.

bills got trent edwards who has looked good, along with losman, not sure bout him

Vikings are high on tavarous jackson latley, havent heard anything but good things in the last few weeks

You do understand that people draft qbs when they have qbs right? That way your not left without a qb.Kitna has failed and will wear out his welcome after next year.Delhomme is on his way out. They dont know if lossman can cut it.They league has horrible qb play now. There is a huge demand for starters and backups.

Panties - No, they have Delhomme, so they won't be drafting a QB in the 1st round.

Chicago Bears - yes

Baltimore Ravens - probably

Tampa Bay - LOL! No way! They already have Jeff Garcia, Luke McNown, Bruce Gradkowski, Chris Simms, and the rights to Jake Plummer at the moment.

San Francisco - Alex Smith was the 1st overall pick in the draft. You think they are going to give up on him already?

New York Jets - No, they drafted Kellen Clemens in the 2nd round of the 2006 draft.

Miami Dolphins - No, they drafted John Beck in the 2nd round of the 2007 draft.

Minnesota Vikings - Doubtful. They really like Tavaris Jackson. What they need are receivers for him to throw to.

Detroit - No, they drafted Drew Stanton in the 2nd round of the 2007 draft.

Buffalo - No, they drafted Trent Edwards in the 3rd round of the 2007 draft, and J.P. Losman in the 1st round of the 2004 draft.

At this rate we'll probably have a chance to get McFadden with our 1st round (2nd overall). Then, we should try to move into the 1st round to get a QB with our extra 2nd round pick.

Dehlome may not be able to come back full strength with his surgery.

What's the difference who needs a QB? We're going to have to 2nd pick in the draft and Miami is not going to draft a QB.

However, if we wait until the 2nd round, I think Baltimore will certainly draft a QB in round 1 and maybe Kansas City. If Chicago doesn't get McNabb, they will likely draft a QB in round 1 also.

Not necessarily. If the draft was held today, we would have the 4th pick, not the 2nd. In addition, I don't think any of the QBs in this draft are worth a top 5 pick, which means we will have to draft a QB in the 2nd round.
