Grim Truth
Sage Rosenfels:121/186 (65.1%) 1,323 yards, 12TD 8INT (plus 1 rushing TD)Matt Schaub: 192/289 (66.4) 2,241 yards, 9TD 9INTSage: 3-0 in startsMatt: 4-8 in startsDearly beloved, we are gathered here to lay to rest the legend of the "Great White Hope". Where once we were told he'd be great as soon as he became a starter, and practiced with the first team offense, he has no proven himself to be no better then his journeyman backup. It has become evident that Schaub is the QB many thought he was, and the fact that he's not outperformed Rosenfels, and is just as bad as Joey Harrington (more or less).Would anyone else like to say a few words before saying goodbye to the hype of Matt Schaub? pass that
Yes.I would just like to say I hope people learned a lesson.Just because the media says a player is great doesnt mean it is true.I hope people will learn to root for whomever the starter is at any posistion instead of creating a friction between starter and backup.Thank you
Grim Truth
For the record, those who will read this and flame me, don't. It's not JUST an insult of Schaubs rockstar status here, but also meant for A) a distraction from a 3-10 year and a coach who walked out and humour. Just a little fun inside all the... everything. atlantaprodj
The book is still not closed on Schaub. He has a lot of football left to play in the coming years and it's only his first season as a starter. He was also out a few games. It is however closed on Vick. Get over it. You're guessing.

You're guessing. He's been in the NFL for 4 seasons, and he couldn't beat out a "RB in the QB position" in his own system. He's struggling and being outplayed and isn't as special as people made him out to be.Everyone said he'd be the next Brett Favre and as soon as he became a starter he'd be great and blah blah. He's underimpressed and shown serious limitations. It isn't like he's a rookie, the guys been in the league for a while. People built him up as the answer for this franchise, and with a team better then ours he's performed barely better then Joey Harrington. He may have a good couple years ahead of him, but the hype is dead. He's no longer a great QB waiting behind another QB for his chance, he's an average QB who may have the potential but hasn't really displayed it."Stick a stupid sign on your back"Nice insult... Schaub lover I take it...
