BlacksburgHokie
#34 (12/13/2007)what if we get mccfaden our first round pick sence maimi is probably gonna get a Qb and later in the draft we get Pat White???? could it work sence were rebuildin our franchize basiclyPat White won't be an NFL QB. He'll probably end up as a WR.Drafting McFadden in the first round and then going QB+OL in the second round would be a pretty good draft, in my opinion... falcon1fan
I still say Brohm, and I understand the tension, in the first. He is the best coming out period. Them take kevin smith in the second. The decline between Mcfadden and Smith is almost non existent minus the hype. I will probably get flamed for saying that but I believe it to be true. Smith is a beast who could carry the workload in the NFL, and always keeps his feet moving for positve yards. He has strength with deceptive speed for his size. jbresette
I think Pat White has said that he is coming back for his Senior year. He has already tried to talk Slaton into coming back.

BirdMan5420
haha good call, white is not an NFL QB. Ideal draft would be (mcfadden/dorsey), colt brennen and good left or right Tackle in the second, third a power back or defensive tackle(depending on who we get in the first)

FALCONTALON83
Even so the 49ers/Patriots still pick ahead of us
jidady
If we lose out, we're picking between 2nd and 4th. It's not exactly a huge drop required for him to be on the board for our pick. And I strongly doubt Miami drafts a second top 2 RB to add to Ronnie Brown.

ATLBrave
The 49ers aren't picking ahead of anyone until the 29th or 30th pick in the draft.

Go take the time to figure out how many teams currently have a pair of first round picks that they drafted (i.e. did not acquire through trade or free agency). Off my head, I can only think of one. New England will probably trade down, and then bank a pick again for next season.
