whiteshoes
Should'nt someones mock consist of someone to possibly replace michael jenkins? the guy make catch a few balls a game but how many has he tipped that got intercepted? There have been more tds off his hands going the other way than for our team. the guy has had plenty of chances and has only proven he has the hands of a db (which is where they put recievers who can't catch.)I'm not saying to use a first rounder on a wr, but somewhere we need a better #2 reciever. If anyone disagrees i would love to hear your reasoning.
The H.N.I.C.
I say we get bryant johnson, unless patrick crayton hits the free agent market, then he's our guy, id love to see him in red and black!!
whiteshoes
now we're talkin!! I live on the west coast and see a lot of az football and if fitz or boldin weren't there he would be putting up huge numbers and is the quintessential #2 wide out. If L. robinson can make strides this offseason i believe that would send our passing game in the right direction.
pzummo
Laurent Robinson has already replaced Jenkins as the #2. Brian Finneran said on the radio he wants to come back now that Petrino is gone, he would be a decent #3 if injuries haven't taken their toll on him. Joe Horn is a #4 WR the way he has played this season. Jennings is coming around on his KR/PR duties and is a suitable #5 WR. I don't think we need a WR to replace Jenkins. Finneran would be my replacement if he can play next year. If not, we don't need to spend more than a 5th round pick on a WR for a #3/#4 spot, or a cheap FA. Patch
until our offensive line can support a throw over 5 yards I'm not real concerned about WRs.
