chazh
Owner and CEOWe have had enough of poor management, it is about time you did the right thing for this franchise and hired a proven Head Coach. You shouldnt care how much money it costs to hire a proven head coach, you spent to much on that idiot Petrino. Now do the right thing and go and persuade Bill Cowher to become the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. You said on Monday you wanted 'a competative team' Cowher will deliver that. And Mr Blank if Cowher does not want to work with Rich, get rid of Rich beacause he would be stopping you from making a hiring that would deliver success. Twinblade
X: SignedI agree, get Bill Cowher
halsey
It's so easy to tell someone else to not to care about thier money. Telling Balnk to go after Cowher is not a unique idea. it's been brought up a million times. Do you really think nobody that actually works in football thought of that idea? Bottom line is you don't even know if Cowher would want to come here.
Peyton
Signed. If the Falcons don't atleast make an offer to Cowher, I'll be extremely disappointed.
jbresette
Sign. Sealed. Deliver. This is someone that would bring instant respect to this franchise. I honestly think he would put butts in the seats and the Veterans would immediately resepect him and buy into his system. Break out the check book Blank, it doesn't matter how much it cost, just get it done. I know there are deserving DC and OC candidates out there, but we have went that route along with the college coach route. Now is the time to bring in someone who knows how to get things done. The_ ATL
Cowher has more power in this than Blank does. The only the the FO can do is offer the job, Cowher has to accept and I dont think he would want anything to do with this -- especially if Fox gets the axe in Carolina. michaelgee
Hire Cowher, fire Rich McKay, let Cowher guide us into the future. At least Cowher is na no BS guy.Petrino turns out to be a CowARD.

falcon124
I'll sign it, but I think he will be coaching in Carolina when he comes back. I hope not, but I think Fox will stay in Carolina one more year, get the axe after the season and Mr. Chin will be their coach for the 09 season (that's just the way I see it), but maybe Arthur can give him enough green to come back a year early in a state he doesn't live in (he lives in NC, by the way). Here's to hoping.
Peyton
Why do people think the Carolina job would be more appealing to Cowher than the Atlanta job? Is it because he lives in Raleigh? That's like 200 miles from Charlotte, so I hardly think that is a factor.
chazh
Tuggle58 (12/12/2007)Signed!!!!!!!!!!However, I think Cowher will quickly dismiss Atlanta. Not if Blank shows him enough cash.
snicker
Are you going to start another petition to convince Cowher to take the job? If it were just as easy as Blank offering the job to Cowher, he'd probably already be in Flowery Branch. Cowher won't come here. why would he? Matthew Eichenblatt
It would be the only thing that would bring people back... I will stay forever, because, I'm a hopeless romantic type, figuring that one day before I hit the grave, the Falcons will win the Super Bowl. For everyone else, it's going to take that + Darren McFadden + LOW season ticket prices to have the dome packed again

Twinblade
Why wouldn't Cowher coach here? We have good weather, right now he is in NC which he could be going to panthers....you think its better for us to get him instead of the panthers? octoslash
LOL at people who think Blank's going to fall out of his chair because 13 message board nerds snap their fingers and say "GET COWHER!":hehe:I'll cosign to Halsey's reply in this thread. There's a SLIGHT chance that the Falcons will try to find the best coach they can get, dontcha think? But **** would have to freeze over for Bill Cowher to even consider coming to the 3 Mile Island of the National Football League.
