falconva7
Beck hasn't led the Miami offense to a SINGLE touchdown and he's been benched for Cleo Lemon. Soooooo I think this leaves the door open for Miami to take Brohm/Ryan/Woodson with the 1st pick. That would really mix things up and it would definitely let Jake Long/Glenn Dorsey/ or Darren McFadden to drop to us. If any of them are there we need to take them. scott24falcs
Yeah, I could see Miami taking a QB with the 1st pick. Beck looks down right frightened out there, and I don't think Lemon is the long-term answer. Brian Brohm could very well go number 1 overall. Hopefully McFadden would still be on the board when we pick.1. Darren McFadden RB2. Duke Robinson OG2. Joe Flacco QB3. Best OT available ???????? Carter
grendel (12/12/2007)Nah, Miami is HORRIBLE at the draft.... Make it Matt Ryan for the bust...:laugh:Yeah, I can see Miami doing something ******** like taking Matt Ryan #1 overall this year. If anyone at all should try to trade down, it should be them. They need help all around in a big way... mostly on the o-line and getting some younger guys on defense.
papikaika
There`s no QB worthy of the #1 pick, but who knows with the Dolphins. (Last year for example). If they want a QB, they should trade down. But, who would move up? That would be the question.
aveboogie2
I can't see Miami doing it. This would be admitting passing up Brady Quinn last year was a mistake. NFL management types will go out of their way to make what's wrong, right.
Serge Storms
I called this when they drafted Ginn. That was such an incredible blunder, after trading away Welker, to spend a first round pick on such a raw receiver without having a quarterback planned out, Beck was a shot in the dark and he didn't pay off, they should have kept Welker, not wasted a pick on Beck, and just taken Quinn in the draft. MSalmon
Beck was Cameron's choice in the draft. He's not writing the guy off that quickly. Beck gets a pass this year.

MSalmon
It's possible, but doubtful. The dolphins season was just like ours--terrible all over--worse even. Hard to blame a rookie QB. He showed enough talent for them to draft high, figure he gets another year.Again, i could be wrong. ****, i liked the Petrino hiring

busboyisback
No telling what Miami does gauging by last year. But if you had to give them the benefit of the doubt, you'd have to say they'd look at QB and just call that Beck pick a mistake.Either that or get an Olineman. falconva7
Most mocks have them picking Glenn Dorsey. I know he's maybe the 2nd best player in this draft, but to me it sounds crazy to pick a DT with knee problems 1st overall.
monson007
Miami will not take a quarterback. They will keep grooming Beck. It is not Beck's fault. The running backs, both of them that are good, Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams are both out for the year. Cam Cameron traded off the good receivers Wes Welker and Chris Chambers and cut the good Tight End Randy McMichael. Beck has had nothing to work with. Cameron picked Ted Ginn Jr. because he was buddies with Ted's father. Ginn is a good kick returner and hopefully he will develop into a decent receiver. Miami should have drafted Amobi Okoye for their defense. Huge mistake not doing this. Lemon should be cut and the Dolphins should then try to sign Joey back from Atlanta. No one on this board would object to that now that they have Lefty (I can stretch the field, but will most likely be stretched out on the field), Shockley, and Redman. The Dolphins need a veteran and it was a real mistake not to sign Joey. I watched Beck against Pittsburgh in that awful mud bowl game. He actually played pretty well. He has had some tough games but that is due to the lack of help and talent around him. Quinn would have fared no better. Heck, he couldn't even beat out Derek Anderson, a quarterback that struggled to get past Charlie Frye.Miami will take McFadden, they will try to deal Ricky for a trade if humanly possible. They will keep Brown too. They need to draft a tight end and another wide receiver. They need defensive lineman also. They can get that through free agency, trade, or draft. 67camaro
At this point there are report that IF the Dolphins go 0-16 they WILL fire the 1st year coach. If they do that NOBODY will know what they will do in the draft!!
The H.N.I.C.
Man its sad to see that team like that, well at least the players like jason taylor, he looks so dissapointed on the sideline, and he cant do anything about it, he should leave for another team!
