Peyton
Give him more than that if you have to. Give him a guaranteed 10 year - $100 million contract if you have to.

He knows that Cowher is worth it.They are talking about Cowher all over the radio so there has to be a real possibility that Cowher could come.but would Cowher want to come here to Atlanta?? UGA Homers LOVE Van Gomer
RODDY NATION (12/12/2007)vicksucksbad (12/12/2007)Dam right he would. He knows that Cowher is worth it.They are talking about Cowher all over the radio so there has to be a real possibility that Cowher could come.but would Cowher want to come here to Atlanta??And that's the question. We have no offensive line and no quarterback. This is not an attractive job.
RODDY NATION
IMHO the Falcons are in a really bad situation. They have no leverage when it comes to negotiations. Every possible coaching canidate on the Radar knows he can Fleece Arthur. Poor Arthur... you know what you have to do Arthur, you know what you have to do...He will play harder then he evr has!! SINIK4L
Peyton (12/12/2007)Give him more than that if you have to. Give him a guaranteed 10 year - $100 million contract if you have to.Agreed. We need to do whatever it takes. If that means throwing Vick-type money at him... so be it.

Peyton
He could pony up... but Cowher wouldn't take it.Money isn't everything when you know you're coming into a no win situation. The coach plays the biggest role in determining a "no win" situation. If Cowher came to Atlanta, Atlanta would become winners. Cowher is a winner, a proven NFL winner. Period.
DAVIES
Two words: Scotty Bowman. That guy could coach Sea Monkeys in Volleyball if he had to. He's that good.
Zenduke
We have eto bring a coach in that isn't a joke. Cowher or Singletary I'm fine with either
BearSan
Lets think about this seriously. The team is terrible. No offensive line, no running game, no QB, soft defense. It won't happen.Add on top of that some of the most delusional fans in the nation... It won't happen.Singletary on the other hand is realistic because he's looking for his shot. It will take several years to fix this (unless we get really lucky). No coach wins without a team. Or a team with no heart. Why would Cowher take 8 or 9 mil here when he could take 6 or 7 mil to coach somewhere like San Diego next year???
