Petrino resigns, I am shocked but not surprised...

In talking about what the Falcons will do following the end of this season I had said before that it would also depend on whether this coach would stick around. I have nothing against him personally but as a practical matter I think this truly stinks on his part. Maybe he didn't sign up for all this but he certainly should have made Blank aware of his intentions before Mr. Blank made the statement he did during last nights broadcast.

That was a classless move on the part of Petrino in my eyes and my opinion. I am sure all of us will be happy to see the season of nightmares come to a close but where do we go from here? I sure hope the Falcons ownership and management had plan B, C and D ready.

Hang in there Falcons fans I think we finally hit rock bottom, so nowhere to go but up.
