oregonsfan
Whatever you may think of the acj or Schultz, this article seems to confirm some of what was being said on this board about Petrino's ability/willingness to communicate with his players.http://www.ajc.com/blogs/content/shared-bl...no_was_nev.html

Nishka
Given the situation I don't blame him for leaving and I am not upset in the least that he is gone. I thought things would have been different with him as head coach but in hindsight it was not a good fit. He knew it, the Falcons knew it and now it's over.No point in being angry and wishing him ill will. He did himself and the Falcons a favor by moving on.... skippy
My question is how does Petrino just walk away??? I thought he was locked into a long term contract??? If so would'nt Blank have to agree with His decision ???
oregonsfan
It seems likely that Arkansas will have to buy out the contract...that is usually what happens.
