4ever_falcon_fan
I have been a Falcons fan since 1979. I even have a Falcons tattoo on my pelvic. There has been a lot of ups & downs through the years, however, this past year has made me think twice about the team. Up until Monday night, I thought I would ride out the storm with this team. However, after the Roddy "Free Mike Vick" t-shirt showing, I can finally say that I am embarrassed and disgusted to be a fan.I understand the players support their has-been QB, but to publicly display it, is not necessary. Vick is a criminal and deserves to serve time for his actions. Although I do believe in second chances, he has a long way to go until he deserves that chance. It is sick for the players to wear his number on their eye makeup... instead of wearing Sean's #21, and honor a man who died too young I follow the Falcons everyday of the year, from the draft, training camp, to the season, and I plan to always be a fan. However, I am just sickened over this whole situation.I do not blame the coach to leaving. Life is too short.
Brutha Mike
Agreed on the choice of accessories. Yet another embarrassment on national television. I too have followed this team for many years, and the way things were going I didn't think this could get any worse... I am apparently not a psychic. hoopdawg2121
Well maybe they should have worded it differently but I agree with supporting the man!Remember all of us have made mistakes some even bigger than this and also we need to remember the amount of good times he gave us!He practically carried the team for a long time, winning on lambeau in the snow, making it to the nfc championship!Maybe the should have written "WE SUPPORT VICK" or something b/c he did do the crime but at the same time the rest of the world has hated vick for quite some time and I feel that he was given a harsh sentence to be used as a example and not actually for the crime itself! 4ever_falcon_fan
I agree they should support him. But the choice of words could have been better.
xcomm
I am really starting to think the same thing about supporting the Falcons. I tell people that a true fan sticks by their team even when losing seems like a normal part of life for a Falcons fan, but to see the Vick support allowed on a Monday Night game was pathetic. Neki Ecko
Well, right now I am in loss of words of what happened in the last couple of days.First of all, Everybody want to diss those guys because of that T-Shirt, I know that they put down the wrong words but you know that they support him as friends and as teammates, because it was his so-called friends that snitch on him and I think it was a good thing that you will have people to support him through his trials, he made a mistake, he understand it and willing to pay the price for this and he will get strong and be a better man out of this. So I am glad that they those guys did that for him.Now for the other business at hand, I will have to say I am sorry for everything I said about support that traitor. He was bad news from the beginning, he never care about anybody but himself and after he told Mr. Blank that he will come back that he left without saying a word to any of the players and only a 10 second speech to his coaching staff. I hope that he get what he deserves, a annual butt kicking by the SEC West and pray that he doesn't play against Georgia in Athens, it is going to be ugly.I am always going to be a Falcons fans, no matter what. Even if they have alot of storms right now, they will get through this and be a better team in the future.By the way, when that traitor left us, he not only hurt himself but any other college coach that want to come to NFL. But you have the right to put on there. It's called freedom of expression. Thats what White was using, his right to freedom of expression. When you begin to erode the basic rights of any individuals, you are attempting to do away with the American concept. When people think differently than you, it's their right to do so. It's not Vick thats the real issue at work here. It's the human urge to dominate what others think, what they say how they look, if they are different in any way ....... they should not be tolerated. But it's good that the American system has things in place to keep this from becoming another Nazi Germany. Everone is entitled to their freedom of expression. Way to go Roddy White, who cares how they read it.

I KEEP TELLING YOU, THIS IS BIGGER THAN VICK. IT'S THE BASIC HUMAN STRUGGLE, US AGAINST THEM. AND THATS EXACTLY WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT. RIGHT NOW WE DON'T HAVE A STAR PLAYER, WE DON'T HAVE A COACH. WHATS LEFT ....... BLANK IS A BUSINESS MAN, AND LA WANTS A TEAM. .......... COMING SOON ........ THE L A FALCONS.
Falcongirl4life
It's called freedom of speech and the sooner we all realize not everyone is going to say or do what we think is right, the better we will be. They (players) have every right feeling the way they do about M. Vick just as well as you do.
