MeAngelo wants to be a Saint?

HALL TO PAYTON: "I'LL PLAY FOR YOU FOR THE MINIMUM"

Our moles who were in the Georgia Dome on Monday night tell us that, at one point during the game between New Orleans and Atlanta, Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall was overheard telling Saints coach Sean Payton, "I'll play for you for the minimum," or words to that effect.

Hall was fined $100,000 for his conduct in a game earlier this year against the Panthers, and the general feeling in the wake of the incident has been that Hall won't be back in 2008.

Prior to that, Hall made clear his desire to test the open market once his rookie contract expires.

It's unlikely that Hall would actually play for the Saints, or anyone, for the minimum player contract with four years of experience. Still, the broader point is that Hall clearly wants out of Atlanta. He'll likely get his wish.

this is ridiculous if u guys really believe hall wants to be a saint u guys r ********... if we lose him this franchise is going down hill hello 0-16..... not saying d hall is our only hope far from it but we dont need to be getting rid of all star players

DHall:

Over rated

Over paid

Over inflated ego

Over active mouth

Other teams throw it OVER his way on 3rd down so that they can get their 1st and ten and continue the drive. Not sure that is the mark of a 'shut-down' CB.

Hoping we get a draft pick or two for him and then we can say...

Over and out.

I wish Hall well.

The man is to good for the falcons.

And if Abraham is here next year I'll feel sorry for him,he deserves better.

It's not Petrino's fault,nor Blanks.

It's Mckays fault!

Mike Vick carried this sorry a## team on his back, and I know you people hate hearing that.

but the truth is the Light!
