Headshot
Whatever happened to that guy?
tipp78
O yea he was all the talk on these boards, i remember hearing the falcons were saying they would empty the vault for this guy. I'm not calling him bust or anything but we would be missing even more pieces to this team if we picked him up.
atlfalcon2184
He's been hurt a good part of the season. He has had quite a few dropped balls recently, we obviously don't need any more of that.
Same Ol Falcons
He was the flavor of the year, just like Reggie Bush the year before and McFadden this year - the flashiest guys in college are never the ones that pan out - I give you Peter Warrick
IrishFalco
He is also in a Martz offense that includes Roy Williams, and two former Rams (Furrey and McDonald).CJ is a beast, and will be in the future too.
atripes
He went to Detroit, the land where all great college recievers go to die..... I feel so sorry for that guy, going to Detroit has cursed his career...
ki45toryu
He is having an OK rookie season...5 TD's and a 15.7 YPC. Now I can understand you calling him out if he has no catches, or has only played in like 2 games because he is inept...but we all know he is going to be a fine NFL wideout. All I heard for 6 months after the season was how Calvin Johnson is the greatest specimen to ever come out of college. "HEEZ 6'5 AND RUNS A 4.35 OMFG D00D!!!!!1111!"He was supposed to revolutionize the position of WR. He would be the prototype that all coaches would look for in a WR, and he was going to be the guy that the Atlanta Falcons were going to pull a Mike Ditka on, and trade away all their picks for him. God am I glad we didn't do something that stupid. This will be blasphemy to some...but I'd rather have Roddy White as it stands right now.
