loozianafalcon
For those of you traveling to New Orleans and have trouble finding accomodations, I live in a city called Houma about 45 minutes southwest of N.O.We have just built 4 or 5 new hotels, and there are plenty of great eats in Houma -- along with the usual chain restaurants, there are great privately owned restaurants with terrific seafood!!Come and give Houma a try!! loozianafalcon
Sorry didn't get back sooner Avatar!Houma has several hotels:Quality Inn, Ramada, Plantation Inn, Fairfield, Hampton Inn, along with several brand new hotels -- Holiday Inn, La Qunita, and Microtel Suites are all located along MLK Blvd in Houma. There are a couple of new ones on the east side of Houma also like a Comfort Inn and a Days Inn.There are a couple of others, BUT I would not advise a stay in those -- very LOW CLASS!Let me know if I can help in any other way! Houma is a very nice city with lots of new shopping and eats!
