FalconFansince80
We have to get Culpepper as soon as he hits free agency. Let Culpepper bring Shockley up to speed rather than Leftwich or Joey. Or he can help develop whatever fresh meat we decide to draft to sacrifice behind our line. Hopefully we draft McFadden and address needs in later rounds. Honestly the Falcons need McFadden as bad as any position right now. Insert him into this offense in this game today and the outcome would have been just a little different. skippy
I like Culpepper. Ironic-Joey was the back up for Culpepper at Miami, until it was clear that Culp just wasn't healthy enough to continue as starter.
millenium falcon
culpepper has 5 tds, 5 ints, which looks a lot like harrington's 7 tds, 8 ints. no thanks. plus shockley looked so raw in camp i was afraid he was not going to make the team. shockley looks more like a practice squader at this point. firstngoal
If reasonably possibly, we need to trade for a veteran starter and draft a qb either this year or next. Shockley may in time develop into a good NFL starter but he has a long way to go. We need to trade for a veteran so that the drafted qb has time to develop.
