rogueleadersf
I know as a fan,you root for us to win every game, but to be realistic, getting a higher draft pick would help us more in the long run IMO.Rather to pick at that spot or to trade down for more picks.I guess I would be on the fence on this one.I watch every game and want us to win, especially against the equally as bad Rams, but I do believe it would be better to get a few more picks in the draft. We need ALOT!I would have posted this in pure football, but, for some reason it looks like no one can start a new topic in pure football right now.Your thoughts... rogueleadersf
I understand that. But we still can't have a winning season even if we win out, which I now seriously doubt will happen. At what point do you start rooting for the draft? xrage
I could never bring myself to root against my favorite team. I don't care what the situation is, I always want to see us win, and this is coming from a guy that is a big fan of the draft. Win games and the draft will take care of itself. Plus, a team that quits in the middle of the year and starts tanking not only looks bad for the NFL, but it also sends a bad message to potential free agents who may be interested in signing with the team. btrain5489
Your post would imply that the Falcons are capable of winning and losing would be the result of taking games off. In reality the Falcons probably are no better than any of the teams they'll see down the stretch. The Falcons don't have to intentionally lose. They do a fine job of losing even when they're trying to win.

foreveriloveatlanta
This is crazy. If you're a true fan, you pull for your team to win every time they take the field. If you're not pulling for them, you're not a fan. Plain and simple. Period.
lelightning
I can't help but cheer and pull to win; tho, I feel in my heart that we need a high draft pick. Still, I wouldn't want the team to take a dive just to get the pick...tho they have occasionally quit towards the end of the year in the past.
