Guest Gritz
I'm watching Virginia Tech-Boston College.Announcer Brad Nessler said that he was talking to Boston College QB Matt Ryan yesterday. Nessler told Ryan that he (Nessler) lived in Atlanta and that the Falcons could sure use a quarterback.Ryan's comment back to Nessler was "No thanks."Screw Ryan. He's off my list.... Mojo Risin
He best not start the Eli Manning way of declaring where he WILL play. That didn't work out too well for him. Just be glad to go to the NFL chump.
bozoatl
If ATL was to draft him, he'd come here. Unless he tried to pull an Eli. Even Russell went to OAK!
texasbirdfan
interesting. forward your email to Arthur..........
atlantaprodj
For those too young to remember... The reason Bartkoski was the Atlanta QB years ago... John Elway said he'd never play in Atlanta.
texasbirdfan
I remember that Elway didn't want to go to Cleveland or some place like that, not Atanta, the Bronco's who btw did not have a storied past at that point.
Romfal
I didn't like Ryan anyway :P
GEORGIAfan
Man i told yall lets go with DJ, and get a qb in the late rounds. also Matt Ryan is overrated anyways. he is a prolific 2min warning man. also elway didnt want to go to the balt. colts not the falcons.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Elway#Draft check it for yourself. i know wiki is not a really vial source, BUT they are usually a good source of INFO. dirtybird3245
You know I love Bart, but I can't help but wonder what might have been if Elway came to ATL...
BlacksburgHokie
Good. He can go be a bust somewhere else.
michaelgee
Gritz, I heard that too, I like Ryan. Maybe better than Brohm.
atlantaprodj
He might have said that too... but when asked about Atlanta he said he wouldn't play here. A lot of us older fans can remember that.

falcons4life
Why would we want him?His numbers have been plummeting and Brian Brohm is the QB for this team.

nativefalcon
Well hes got no choice if he gets drafted. Unless he pulls a eli manning, and sorry he doesn't have that kind of pull.
rcky_mtn_falcon
Elway didn't want to go to Baltimore when the Colts were still there. Bartkowski was drafted by the Falcons in 75, Elway wasn't drafted until 83. WTH did that crap come from
ak.the.knight
So he doesn't want to come to Atlanta. Screw him. I hope he loses today.
nativefalcon
Well hes got no choice if we draft him. :hehe: He doesn't have the pull Eli manning had. So if we drafted him Tough ish.
texasbirdfan
Right it was the Colts, not Falcons.
texasbirdfan
We drafted Peachtree Bart years before Ellway.........
scott24falcs
If he really said that that's hilarious.
rcky_mtn_falcon
The Falcons didn't draft until 16th in the 1st round the year Elway was drafted, and Bart had not even been in the league 10 years. The Falcons NEVER considered Elway in that draft.
Guest Gritz
I don't want a guy who doesn't want to be here, whether it's someone in the front office, coach or player....He got outplayed by Sean Glennon today.Eat it Ryan.........
