reservoirdog
his stats are obviously inflated by the usual tt spread offense, but being able to move the ball and even pass in the red zone against oklahoma is very impressive. only one receiver on his team has the athletic ability to create his own separation not manufactued by the offense aganst that calibur of defense, but he frequently found guys and hit them even when they were actually covered. he has real touch on his passes, not like the usual spread offense or run and gun quarterback that can complete a pass to a guy that is in space, but really put it between defenders. he's no first round guy, but he looks like a legitimate prospect. moe szyslak
he's a legit prospect. he's not like the other texas tech qbs. he'll get his shot in the pros. he's kind of like colt brennen in that way. he plays in an offense that lesser talented players have excelled in but they are both very legit prospects. pit&atlfan81
i wouldn't be opposed to it. he actually has to read defenses unlike dennis dixon. he ripped oklahoma a new one last night.
L.Rover
i think there are a lot of qbs that could make it in the nfl...... with time. harrell and brennan fall into the same category for me: they both put up numbers in a system that doesn't translate to the nfl. so not only do they have to learn a new offense, but they have to learn an nfl offense. there is even more of a learning curve than for someone coming out of a school that has produced several nfl-ready qbs (usc is one that comes to mind, under carroll). like i said before, not that i have a problem with brennan or harrell, but they aren't worth the high draft pick that it will take to get them. a first round qb should be one that is nfl ready. brennan & harrell don't show that in their systems, and they will take time to develop. this franchise doesn't have that time.
