"arizona wanted the same opportunity to move him up to the active roster and they did on monday."patrick played four seasons, redshirting one, at duke, where he earned his degree in african-american studies before transferring to delaware. he was considered the top tight end prospect in division i-aa last season."if he had to leave, atlanta was the perfect place for him," lewis said. "there is no team that ben patrick likes better than the atlanta falcons. he's been wearing one of their jerseys since he was kid, but he owed respect back to the team that drafted him."
