Robb4242
why take the 11th best guy instead of the 2nd best with a need at qb?because the learning curve for the system will be tremendously shorter. there is no guarantee that the other 2 qbs can learn or play the system we're running. and, this is just 1 person's rankings, the club & other people may have them ranked differently. aveboogie
quinn was the more hyped qb, once he got to face an sec defense, he folded like a lawn chair.from there through the combine, russell's physical ability solidified his position as the #1 qb.the same script will be played out this year with brohm in the role of the hyped qb (much of it deserved though), and woodson's physical ability and track record winning out.the only difference is woodson may go on to win the heisman. 23vickfalcons
dixon is not an nfl qb.based on what??is the nfl not interested in pocket qbs who possess great accuracy, sees the field & makes great decisions with the football in his hands.even without the low 4.4 speed he is a great qb. aveboogie
i like brohm better than woodson at this point. it's just an opinion. it's extremely hard to gauge how qbs will transition to the nfl. we both may look crazy in a few years...i can understand brohm over woodson. both have performed at the highest level in college.i think woodson presents more of a ceiling than brohm, but i think both will be good qb's.you're right that it's a crapshoot in projecting these guys. i just hope the falcons make the right choice!
