papikaika
falcons 2008 mock draftround 1 - darren mcfadden, rb, arkansaswarrick dunn is aging and jerious norwood probably won't be able to handle the whole load when dunn is cut or retires. we need a 'powerback' for the future and we get that plus amazing speed with mcfadden.round 2 - barry richardson, ot, clemsonwayne gandy is likely to be gone by the end of this season, so we need to look for his eventual replacement. richardson is one of them 'big' offensive lineman that petrino likes.round 2(frm.hou) - frank okam, nt, texasgrady jackson is another person aging on our team. okam is a sure player that can come in and make an impact for us next season on the dline.round 3 - tom zbikowski, ss, notre damelawyer milloy is solid, but he's getting old. darren stone is a good player, but i feel he's just a back-up. zbikowski would be the eventual replacement for lawyer milloy and could even get a few pointers here and there from milloy.round 3 - john david booty, qb, uscbrohm, woodson, ryan will all be loooooong gone by this point. john david booty is a solid player that would definitely come in here and help us. yeah, he might be gone by this point, but who knows, he might be here. this would be a solid pick and would develop into the starter for us down the line.round 4 - brandon coutu, k, georgiawe need a reliable kicker who isn't a punter also and who isn't 100 years old. coutu has a very strong leg (career long 58 yds.) and has solid accuracy. he's going to be the next best kicker in the nfl, trust me.round 5 - jason rivers, wr, hawaiistill in need of wr's, imo. horn isn't all effective stats wise this season, and we might see a few breakouts this season from roddy white and michael jenkins. rivers is a solid possesion receiver that can give us the deep threat we need (as seen with hawaii).round 6 - marcus walker, cb, oklahomathere's a slight chance that deangelo hall might not be back with us, but we'll let that develop. chris houston, so far, isn't looking that good, but he's still a rookie. other than that, the cb position is shallow. walker would provide depth and he's a serious competetor.round 7 - trevor laws, dt, notre damehad a solid junior season, and could need some depth at the dt position. coleman is also aging and we need another player to come in and provide depth, along with a solid game.2008 depth chartqb: leftwich, john david booty, harringtonrb: mcfadden, norwoodfb: mughelliwr: horn, white, jenkins, robinson, jennings, riverste: crumpler, blakely, milnerlt: richardson, fosterlg: blalock, claboc: mcclurerg: forney, batistert: weiner, qjinakale: anderson, davisnt: okam, lewisut: coleman, babineaux, lawsre: abrahamblb: boley, wilkinsmlb: brooking, taylorwlb: williams, nicholascb: hall, sanders, houston, irons, walkerss: milloy, zbikowski, stonefs: crocker, j.williamsk: coutup: koenen
