published on: 11/18/07 1. after an 82-yard opening kickoff return by asher allen, georgia was poised to take a quick lead. but knowshon moreno dropped the ball heading around the left side. kentucky recovered and stole the momentum. the wildcats went on to score the first 10 points of the game.

2. holding onto a one-score lead, 21-13, and facing possibly the top quarterback in the sec, georgia's defense had to make a stand. kentucky had a third-and-two at its own 15 with 5:00 left. defensive tackle geno atkins broke through the line and brought rafael little down two yards deep to force a punt.

3. brandon coutu pushed the score out of kentucky's reach with a 46-yard field goal with 2:09 left. the kick, which was into the wind, was the second longest of the year for coutu. he had a 47-yarder against alabama.
