that is a huge fanasty, i only wish it could happen but petrino could not be fired or forced out, he would have to leave on his own kinda like saban did when he returned to college. that way mckay and blank would save face for hiring him in the 1st place when better options could have been had. mckay and blank already have too much egg on their face as it is.........................

why would cowher leave a team like pit, then come to a team like ours a couple years later? if petrino ever went back to college (that's a huge if), it definitely wouldn't be to either of those schools.

3 reasons

1. the money

2. the challenge(anything he does would be better than what we have done)

3. hes from nc, so he would be able to coach and be close to home/family

bill cowher would never accept an offer to coach the falcons.

the falcons head coaching job is not a desirable coaching position. the only people that would accept an offer to coach the falcons are people with college head coaching experience or people with nfl coordinator/assistant coaching experience.

if he wanted to be close to home, he'd coach the panthers. at this point in cowher's life, money is the least of his worries.
