nativefalcon
petrino is a college coach plain and simple, not a nfl one yes or no..
Kayoh
giving up on petrino at this point would be like giving up on a rookie qb with no line, horrible receivers and a weak running game. he can still make it in the nfl --- there is a learning curve for coaches. not just players. ****, in jimmy johnson's first season as a head coach coming from the ncaa, he only had 1 win. nativefalcon
nope he can make it in the nfl, but he has to build his team. if he does leave, then we always can make zimmer the hc.well today was a major college coach moment. he needs to make adjustments, and let his playmakers make plays. right now hes nick saband and butch davis times 2. statick
sorry, haven't seen that much of him to give an informed, non-biased opinion.
magestik63
if only petrino could step in and do some blocking. or hold on to the ball when hes getting tackled. maybe even step in on d and keep a 3rd string rb from running all over us. i would say that this teams problems are not from under coaching, its under performing. the chargers problems are from coaching not ours. nativefalcon
do not forget belichick. billy belichick went 5-11 his 1st year, and if he had fans like the falcons we would be in the same situation. trust the head coach, and let him build his team before you think he is just a college coach.yup i bet the dolphins fans and the redskins fans and the browns fans said the same thing. falkon
if petrino is going to stay, he'll better make good decisions, so far he's not done so.
