Big Duke 6
can auburn's dunlap keep up? the case of auburn offensive tackle king dunlap is a bit different from hills. dunlap (6-8 5/8, 309), current our top-rated prospect at the position, may see his draft status slide, and it would have nothing to do with an injury. there is no doubt dunlap is a premier athlete with rare quickness, speed and athleticism for being as big and taller than hills, but during the current tigers' season, he has not been the consistently dominant player he has the talent to be, which has led to him being benched for certain stretches. although his slide in performance is a concern, when dunlap has played with fire, his athleticism has come out to take defenders out of plays. dunlap will also impress nfl teams during the spring workout schedule, so he will have the chance to help himself prove his inconsistent senior season is not a true indication of his future performance. dunlap's stock may be a bit down now, but he still should end up beating out hills and the rest to be the first offensive tackle off the board. once dunlap works out and shows teams how gifted he is, and teams go back and grade every game he played, they will see that he still managed to bring out his best against the nation's top defensive events. his playing style is reminiscent of the falcons' wayne gandy, who was inconsistent early in his career but developed into a stalwart left tackle
Big Duke 6
hey bart, yeah they are finally addressing the benching incident.they do a good job.if he doesnt have good workouts and bowls he will drop.they love his size and ability.this early players can move around so throwing rocks doesnt mean much. Dem Birds
they have king dunlap rated as the top ot? if you pay money for that service you should demand a refund.didn't you say that about another website that didn't have "your guy" listed as the best ot? i could be wrong and it could have been someone else, but i'm fairly sure it was you. philosophico
just what i want in a 1st round pick, a guy who puts forth inconsistent effort and gets benched.... he'll fit right in with the falcons, he can be overpaid and sorry and not have to worry about being bench because he was drafted high. hytrewqasdfg
their early stuff is always crazy.i have noticed that the closer they come to draft day, the more accurate they become. look at their april rankings the day after draft day, and you'll that a lot of the stuff that look crazy in april turned out to be pretty accurate. once they have had time to dig into things, they seem to come closer to the way actual nfl scouts are thinking come draft day that most others.this time of year though, they are all over the place in their rankings. their individual profiles seem to be pretty good this early though.
