1989Fan
i got the same bad feeling....something is terribly wrong at the branch. 21 tackles, a 5yd loss sack, and a few blocked passes so far...**** i know we needed a roster spot but how can you justify getting rid of a top10 dt and one of our bright spots? i do not understand wtf is going on......you are out of your mind dude. grady isnt a top 20 - 25 dt even. birdofprey7
i love how people on this board are bashing grady jackson now that he is cut. just last year people were praising him. my gosh, falcons fans are so fickle. grady was playing well this year. he was second in tackles on the d-line. i think letting him go was extremely dumb. i hope to god that we dont get brutally ran over by the niners. if we do, cutting grady will look extremely dumb. he had 3 solo tackles in the giants game and 5 in the titans game. he was still a good d-linemen for us. i know we are cleaning house, but how about we do that more so towards the end of the season. i have a real bad feeling about this move.maybe its the bubble guts!!! durrettc
how come? he was playing solid this year........to me. i guess i have been watching some other falcon team b/c to me grady has been as consistent as they come. he is definitely one of the top dl in the league and who clogs the middle better than he does. this team has given up on this season and i think we should too. aka_cig_bc
they cut him cause he looked to be retaining fluid, and though a quick slash might drain him down to size. once that didnt work they had to release him.

robbyb03
who are you talking about brooking or jackson??jackson, but brooking hasn't done that much this year. brooking is atleast a good locker room influence and he is having a tough year, but he is playing out position. brooking has had a solid career, jackson not so much. i'm willing to give brooking a little room because he is a great locker room teammate, a great person in the community, and is still our most consistent tackler at linebacker (though boley is quickly closing the gap and may be the best lb).
