what's the season about?

lord, i hope this team and the coaches who coach it win as many as possible;

however, i pointed out months ago that a losing season comes with almost any

change in the head coaching position. period!

we hope to win now, but it is much more about winning in the future.

when i pointed out the simple truth months ago, i said, though i don't

bet on point spreads, i would be much more concerned about how bad

a loss would be rather if a loss occurs in this first patrino season.

there have been two blow outs, and the giants was not as bad

as the opener to the vikes.

the only falcons coach to have a winning season in his

first season was the one that was cut loose - mora.

he was left some good stuff by dan reeves.

there is no other first year coach in the league now

having a winning season; not in arizona or oakland.

so, . . . is all the negative stuff going down on these

boards nothing more than people wishin' for an unlikely

miracle season. get real and look to the future.
