sporkdevil Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 are you serious? i say we need a mobile qb and we need one now! start norwood at qb! we'd have a better chance..... redman just isn't any good at qb, he really stunk in the pre-season against people that are probably bagging groceries now, and i'll be surprised if he starts if he makes it to the second qaurter. no, i disagree because we would be starting "chris deadman"..... try watching preseason. that would help out your point. i think the first 2 games he looked as good as joey, and then shook the rust off. dude looked real good throwing, minus to milner (who couldn't manage to catch a **** ball). and redman played with 2nd teams, not 3rd. 3rd string is bagging groceries. 2nd string is backup to the starters. and that means our backup oline and receivers. you can disagree about it, but to call him deadman just means you didn't watch preseason. how blew off more sacks than joey took after he folded like a lawnchair. remember him be tackled at the ankles, falling over, and completing a pass? i guess not, it was during preseason. i thought he was a chump when he was signed, but the more i saw him play the better he looked.and he might not be the future, but he is only 30, and could honestly give us 5 years. i say play redman, he can take the pressure and throw the ball.
