bigmildog
wow, when i had first heard that number 7 might not be available to us for the season i thought that it was going to be a really tough season. i had know idea that it was going to be this tough though. it seems to me that our two biggest problems on offense are that we are giving up way too many sacks and we cannot run the ball worth a ****. this would really lead me to believe that the solution to these two horribly frustrating problems is an o-line change. now i, like so many others( bartkowski, etc, etc) was calling for the f.o. to draft levi brown. we did indeed draft jamaal anderson and i am fine with that, i think that the young man will be a great nfl player for many years. but clearly after the first seven weeks of this season we need to address this issue in next years draft. i understand all of the people calling for us to draft a qb in the first round but i'm not sure it would really make a difference. the o-line is leaky and any qb would really have a lot of trouble throwing from behind it. i can only hope that the rest of this season is going to be used to really see what a lot of our rookies can do. let's be clear though bobby petrino cannot be faulted for the debacle that our team find's itself in. he was under the impression that when he signed on he had a starting qb who was a difference maker. let's give petrino until next year before we evaluate what he can really do for our beloved team. nitefalcon244
idk anymore. we need a franchise player to spark interest in our team again, we need a new mike vick. at the same time our offensive line is begging for help so if jake long is there idk how we can turn him away.right now i'd say draft long if hes there when we pick, otherwise get woodson, the kid is electric

Grim Truth
it's like watching a car crash. just pull to the side of the road, jump on the hood, lay back and watch the burning metal and people yelling at one another placing the blame while people who missed the accident and just show up put their 2cents in even though no one's asked them... wow... this is like a car crash. jdc1963
hey, parcells went 3-12-1 his 1st season as hc in ny. then 9-7 and then 10-6. believe me they wanted to run his azz outta town when he named sims starter but look how it turned out....look how he turned out. now i'm not saying petrino is a parcells but ****, i'm willing to give the guy a chance to do "his thing" before i pass judgement. if that means witnessing a train wreck, well so be it. don't you rubber neck at crash scenes?
