i think we will end up with the 3rd overall pick, i think the texans will have the 8th overall pick. so that will give us the 3rd, 35th, 40th, and 65th pick through 3 rounds. here is what i think we will do.

scenerio 1:

we move down 7 spots to the 10th overall pick, and receive a late 2nd rounder (62nd overall)

10th pick: andre woodson qb, kentucky

35th: michael oher ot, ole miss

40th: barry richardson ot, clemson

62nd: kentwan balmer dt, unc

65th: d.j. hall wr, alabama

day 2: get a big back for petrino smash mouth football, add a cb for depth, add a s for dept, probably try to snag a kicker too.

scenerio 2:

3rd pick: darren mcfadden rb, arkansas

35th pick: colt brennan qb, hawaii

40th pick: barry richardson ot, clemson

65th pick: pedron sosa ot, rutgers

day 2: get a big back for petrino smash mouth football, add a cb, s, d-line for depth, get a speedy wr, and a kicker to replace the great dane.

colt brennan is a product of the system. and woodson is a heck no he is immobile. just a younger taller bledsoe.

dude woodson is way more mobile than bledsoe ever was or will be, and with petrino's pass happy system why would'nt brennan fit in? i'd rather get woodson than brohm, loisville plays in a ###### conference. sec is king, and woodson is doing pretty well against some sec power houses.

not suprising, you intentially cut out one of the main stats, he already has three rushing td's

do i have to? no, do i want to yeah. i just messing. well people wil ask who will be the qb, so im just tellin them.

but i would trade a 2009 pick for derek anderson if dj doesnt work. or get culpepper, he looks great. or trade for jamarcus russel.

i must admit, derek anderson has **** near surprised everyone but himself so far this year. looks like the brady quinn era will have to wait a bit longer...

as for j marc, i am scared that he has bust written all over him.

i hope dj is ready, because he is indeed electrifying and can make plays with his feet. peyton manning is great, but he can be boring to watch.

i think we're going to finally address the o-line 1st round in the draft and then make a trade for culpepper. if woodson falls, we make a move to get him so he can sit behind culpepper for at least a year. very active in free agency!!

imo, we would stick with leftwich before we get another retread in culpepper. we do have leftwich signed through 2009 anyway. leftwich has proven he can win, he just needs to stay healthy. we would stick with him as the starter while we fix the o line and let whoever we pick up at qb sit until he is ready.

truth..........i don't know about leftwich (long term), but we're going to find out soon enough! but i do see woodson as a falcon!

if it's between harrington adn leftwich to be the long-term backup, i would expect leftwich to beat the weak-armed, cant-stretch-the-field harrington. woodson could just be the long term answer. we will see in a few months from now.
