  1. No way KC could retain Poe with the contract they just gave Berry... bring em home.
  2. If we can only afford one, and its looking like they'll all be between 9-12 mil/year so where do we put the money? My vote is for Trevathan, idk why, but I think he'll have the biggest impact on our defense for the longest period of time.
  3. I'm just not sold on the guy. I live up in BIG TEN country and saw a few Minnesota games this year. But Williams just didn't stand out to me. Maybe I'm missing something, but I just don't see it. I'd be disappointed if they took him in the second round, especially over guys like Perryman, Mckinney, Dorset, Stephone Anthony, Ogbuehi, Tomlinson, and Demarious Randall. Anybody else think more of him?
  4. First off I just want to say I've never been a huge supporter of resigning Grimes this off season. I know the guy has been solid for the Falcons over the past 2 or 3 seasons. But after injury problems, missing games and season ending knee surgery I was really against it. I just rationalize it as this. Grimes is undersized at 5'8 maybe 5'9 on a good day, but he has always made up for it with his athletic ability. Now he's had surgery on the same knee that has cost him games over the last two seasons. Even still going into the off season I thought maybe if they can get him at the right price(4-5) million a year. Negative.. The dude wants to command money that Robinson received 2 years ago. Obviously the Falcons didn't want to give him that, but at the same time didn't want him to hit the market either, so they had to tag him. The problem is the tag for a CB this year is at 10 million. So factor that 10 million into the Falcons cap room that already was eaten up by Biermann, Tatupu, Snelling... etc. Obviously the 10 million dollar franchise tag took up 1/3 of the Falcons cap space they had this off season. Which in turn cost them any chance of signing Williams...(as of now) Your thoughts?
  5. Since we went ahead and signed Lofa before FA even started, doesn't that mean the writing on the wall for Lofton? We essentially signed Lofton's replacement, saving a significant amount of cap. Couldn't one assume that since we did this so "early" that we have a deal set up for Williams already to go through when things get going? Why would you sign Lofa only to miss out on Williams and you could have kept Lofton? Fasten your seat belts gentlemen! It's about to get WILD!!!!!
