I do not believe Kyle Hamilton is that great of a player like everyone else is saying. I believe he has been a media darling and has been over hyped. I think that the testing is starting to show what some people were ignoring on film. He is a slower player with stiff hips, who is not a do everything safety. I feel he should be converted strictly to LB in the NFL.

It seemed like there was confusion as to whether or not Free had a contact injury vs the Eagles. Well, I was looking at our highlights of today on NFL.com and found this video in the feed: http://www.nfl.com/videos/atlanta-falcons/0ap3000000962041/Blackmon-Falcons-confident-turning-to-Coleman-without-Freeman-in-Week-2 Regardless of the future at RB; granted I want Tevin signed long-term like most sane people if possible, we are a 2-headed RB system and maybe this is just a bad bone bruise. Look at the guys dropping like flies on D. We need all the horses we can get and Free is a good one we were hoping had rebounded from his knee injury last year. Hopeful this is good news that it's not an aggravation of the MCL/PCL injury. Snapshot from video freeze:

http://www.atlantafalcons.com/media-lounge/videos/Thursday_Report_Dissecting_NEs_Defense/c8f57c4e-9068-4bb7-bb8c-a5b0b3106321 ^^^^click on link above - two minute video of Archer being interviewed. There is not that many people I defer to when it comes to my Atlanta Falcons - even some smart analysts that know more football than me, they don't necessarily know the ATLANTA FALCONS better than me. Dave Archer both knows the game better than me and knows these Falcons better than me - he was a playoff QB for the Falcons a long time ago and really knows the game of football. Not only is "ARCH" the color analyst for the local 92.9 Falcons hometown radio team (w/ Wes Durham) - he also does many college football games on Saturday as well - mostly ACC games. Anyway, watch this video - Arch is not one to wax poetic - basically he says here (after breaking down the Pats Defense) - that as long as Atlanta shows up and Shannahan shows up and "Falcons just do what they do" - it is gonna be a long day for the New England Patriots. at 1:50in - Q: What does all this come down to? Archer: Just be the Atlanta Falcons. It really is as simple as that - never in my days of doing Falcons games have I been able to say that - if we show up and play, they cannot beat us - if we establish our rhythm offensively and Kyle has a good day calling plays, it is going to be a long day for the Patriots!" I am naturally pessimistic as I have the war wounds of being Falcons fan for 45 years, but this gives me confidence. Sure Archer is a homer but....he is not a BS-er and calls it like he sees it. Archer is a positive person but he does not exaggerate.

In Brotherhood request to those going to the game
Sun Tzu 7 posted a topic in Talk About the Falcons
So I'm sure all of you have seen the In Brotherhood video. If you haven't STOP everything you're doing and watch it now. Anyway I have a feeling the Falcons are going to play that before kickoff followed by the 'Rise Up Atlanta!' on the video boards. Can those of you going to the game record this and post to YouTube? The broadcast probably won't show it and they're not going to be able to capture the crowd reaction the way a recording from the crowd will. Thanks -
