  1. Free Agency I don't think we'll be big players in the FA market and instead target low risk, high reward reclamation projects. I'd love for us to take a look at Malik Hooker (FS), Forrest Lamp (OL) and John Jenkins (NT). Draft I'm on record as saying we're in a great spot at #4 in the draft and could see us going in almost any direction (up, down, QB, non-QB). That said my preference would be to trade down. In this I have us trading down to #12 with the 49ers giving up #43 and 2022 2nd round pick. I'm also assuming we receive two 5th round comp picks. 1. Patrick Sur
  2. ATL Trade #16 (1000) & #143 (34.5) to NE for #23 (760), #87 (155), #98 (108) & #195 (12.2). NE selects Jordan Love, QB, Utah State with #16 This trade makes too much sense from the connection/history between TD and BB to the fact that NE have 12 picks in the upcoming draft (there is zero chance 12 rookies are making that Pats roster). After losing TB12 and seeing the impact of mobile QB’s in the AFC (Pat Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson & Josh Allen to name a few), I can definitely see Jordan Love being on the Patriots radar and pick #16 figures to be a hot spot for that
  3. "With the 16th Pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.. The Detroit Lions select.. Jarran Reed, Defensive Line, Alabama." The words from Roger Goodell brought a huge smile to Mike Brown, who immediately calls Thomas Dimitroff and offers to send pick him picks 24, 87, and 122 in exchange for pick 17. Dimitroff accepts the trade down opportunity for the first time with pressure coming from Pioli and Quinn, seeing the additional picks in this draft as being far too valuable to his job security. "With the 17th Pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.. The Cincinnati Bengals select.. Laquon Treadwell, Wide Receiv
  4. RapSheet, although annoying, is well connected. So there may be some credence in the trade down for O-Line stuff. I mean.... I don't hate it, but it would be like going to the playboy mansion and taking a hot member of the catering staff home. How about this for a hypothetical, stay with me: Imagine if TD stopped dreaming about swinging for the fences and getting into the Grotto, and we say, traded back into the teens with Miami @14 I could see Miami want to come up if say Cooper or White slid) Our pick at 8 = 1400 points Fins at 14 and 42 = 1550 points It's slightly off, but the Fins would
  5. I find this kid to be super raw but also an altheltic freak. For some weird reason, I believe in our staff's ability to coach up and develop talent, which we haven't done in years. If we have to trade down, I won't have a heart attack with someone like this kid being on the board late in the first. I had hoped he'd be there in the 2nd to give us added flexibility in the first, but it looks like Mike Tomlin is already looking at him as an OLB in the first. Thoughts? Defensive end Danielle Hunter (6-5 1/4, 251) had a 36 1/2-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-10 broad jump. He did the 20-yard short
  6. Various posters here and myself are worried that the players we've been developing football crushes on will be gone. Who are the 8 players you'd take with pick 8 before screaming for TD to trade down? Leonard Williams, DE/DT, USC Vick Beasley, OLB/DE, Clemson Randy Gregory, OLB/DE, Nebraska Alvin "Bud" Dupree, OLB/DE, Kentucky Dante Fowler Jr., OLB/DE, Florida Amari Cooper, WR, Alambama Kevin White, WR, West Virginia Brandon Scheriff, OT/OG, IOWA
  7. The WRs, DEs and DTs "are what we thought they were" as far as the known candidates are concerned. If we thought TE was weak this year, the LBs just joined them (Not counting DEs playing OLB). If you were the GM, what players would make you stay at pick 8 and which ones would you trade and acquire extra picks for if the "Stay At 8" players are gone? Stay At 8: 1. Leonard Williams 2. Vic Beasley 3. Dante Fowler Jr. 4. Randy Gregory 5. Kevin White 6. Amari Cooper Or Entertain Trade-bait: 1. Eli Harold 2. Bud Dupree 3. Landin Collins 4. Arik Armstead 5. Brandon Scherff
