Witnessed the closure of unfinished business today. While sitting through the graduation ceremony at Texas in the college of education today the dean was reeling off names one by one. Then “with the 34th pick in the 2011 draft the Buffalo Bills select Aaron Williams, cornerback, Texas” and the crowd went wild. Just think it’s really cool that a legit player of his magnitude came back to school and finished his degree program and walked the ceremony. Good on you and way to be a role model. Well done.

Once again I am reminded of all the reasons I’m beyond proud to be an Atlanta Falcons fan. Watching the ‘Horns spring game (at my wife’s request lol) and the break is all about our Art Blank. There is no shortage of good deed or leadership news about our team’s owner. But this is going to be an overwhelming difference maker for many young people. What a great guy, a true hero. Keep this civil. This is a remarkable gift he has made. Full story linked below. Here’s the abstract. The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, through the awarding of a $20 million legacy grant, is establishing the Arthur M. Blank Center for Stuttering Education and Research, which will be an overarching center to expand the vision and work of Dr. Courtney Byrd, who founded and directs the Michael and Tami Lang Stuttering Institute, the Dr. Jennifer and Emanuel Bodner Developmental Stuttering Laboratory and the Dealey Family Foundation Stuttering Clinic in the Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin. https://moody.utexas.edu/news/changing-world-people-who-stutter
