  1. The FALCONS do NOT stink as much as the PACKERS. (check that score) OR Was that a very well-coached SAINTS team? (those words taste horrible in my mouth)
  2. Scout's Honor podcast looking at Giants, Falcons, Packers before heading to training camp https://www.spreaker.com/episode/18379434
  3. Hey guys I'm going to be stuck at work getting some much needed OT, but I will not be around my TV at 4 for the game today. I can usually str3am the game on my laptop, but without an internet connection , it looks like I will be forced to listen to the game on the radio. Which brings me to my question: What apps would work on my iPhone 5s that would pick up the game today? I can listen on my headphones and get all the work done I need, but I haven't listened to the radio in ages. And I don't even know what station will broadcast the game. Thanks ahead of time Falcons Family, and Rise up!
  4. http://atlantasportspage.org/falcons-vs-packers-preview/ Our score prediction is 30-24 Falcons, what's yours? #RiseUp
  5. James Jones: Chemistry is at core of Packers' struggles By Conor Orr Around The NFL Writer Published: Oct. 20, 2016 at 04:38 p.m. Updated: Oct. 20, 2016 at 11:28 p.m. Former Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings made some pointed remarks on Aaron Rodgers this week, noting that the quarterback is a "sensitive" player who is finally getting some of the heat for Green Bay's struggles offensively. James Jones, another receiver during that era, is taking a different route. During a segment on NFL Network's Up To The Minute on Thursday afternoon, the former Packers standout said that chemistry is the source of Rodgers' recent slip (as much as you can call it that for a player who has completed 62 percent of his passes for 758 yards, seven touchdowns and three picks over the last three weeks, two of which resulted in wins). "Aaron did miss some throws that he wishes he could have back," Jones said. "He knows he needs to play better. Trust me, I've been around Aaron for eight years. He's been a competitive guy. I know he's been in the film room, I know he's studying this Bears defense to go out there and play better. "He does need to go out and make those throws. That is very true," Jones continued. "But for this offense to click it's all about chemistry and getting out there with Aaron knowing what the guys are going to do on the football field. And I think he's still trying to find that with Jeff Janis, Davante Adams, (Jared Abbrederis). He's still trying to find that chemistry to go out there and know where those guys are going to be and trusting those guys to be in the right spots and make plays. "So it's not to put the blame on one person or to say that it's Aaron's fault. Yeah those are throws that he missed and I'm sure he'll make those throws if he has them again. But it's the chemistry, too, man." Jones, in my mind, was the perfect example of this. After returning to Green Bay in 2015, he caught eight touchdown passes in 15 starts. During the team's playoff victory over the Redskins, Rodgers was leaning significantly on his long-time teammate when ancillary parts like Davante Adams weren't flashing when needed. Predicting Rodgers' demise, whether it be due to personal or professional reasons, is a fool's errand at this point. His valleys are still stats that many NFL head coaches would pay $80 million for over the next four seasons.
  6. Funny:....but typical. By Judy Battista NFL.com: "The NFL is about adversity in general, the way you handle it, approach it day to day," Romo said. "I think the job for our football team is to find ways to win. We have a group of guys in that room that I think can do that." Perhaps they do, but the schedule won't help the Cowboys. They might be able to slip past some of their reeling division opponents, but it is hard to imagine they can score enough points without Romo and Bryant to keep pace with the Patriots next month, or to find a way around Seattle's defense in November or to stay with the Packers in December, if Romo and Bryant are still unavailable by then. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000535668/article/dallas-cowboys-hoping-to-survive-until-tony-romo-returns

  8. Super Bowl MVP Winner Aaron Rodgers Allegedly Outed By Rumored Boyfriend Rumors are swirling that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was one of the NFL stars expected to come out of the closet this summer, and a cyber sleuth site is all but confirming it with a wealth of dirt that suggests he’s also in a gay relationship. The Fame Driven was apparently tipped off by an anonymous “spy,” who pointed to a number of now-deleted tweets from the Twitter account of Kevin Lanflisi, the man who worked as Rodgers’ “personal assistant” and lived in his home as “a roommate” for the last several years. http://www.queerty.com/super-bowl-mvp-winner-aaron-rodgers-allegedly-outed-by-rumored-boyfriend-20131228/ I heard about this Kevin dude living with him a while ago. Would be pretty epic if true. You cant hate a guy who dominates the way he does when playing.
  9. Due to the Falcons' past couple playoff embarrassments by the NYG and GBP, it would be a bit hard to pick a side in this week's matchup between the GBP and the NYG. The Packers and the Giants are both tough teams that could end the Falcons' Super Bowl Dream. The trio of teams currently have high seeds. Atl: 1st Seed Packers: 3rd Seed Giants 4th Seed The Saints-49ers Game will impact the seeding for this upcoming game. Who would the Falcons choose to win in the Packers-Giants matchup and why?
  10. There are five points on this list. This one is definitely a problem for us: 3. Challenge the Packers' WRs at the line. Green Bay has routinely torched opponents who have allowed their receivers to have free access into their routes. The Chiefs, however, jammed receivers at the line and made them work through aggressive tactics to gain separation at the top of the routes. Brandon Flowers and Brandon Carr , in particular, were tenacious challenging Jordy Nelson , James Jones and Donald Driver early in routes, and their aggressiveness certainly disrupted the Packers' quick-rhythm passing game. As a result, the trio only tallied six receptions for 55 yards. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d825448f7/article/chiefs-show-how-to-beat-packers-who-else-can-do-it?module=HP11_cp
