  1. This is the game that Kyle infamously called "the [Falcons] Super Bowl" in the days leading up to the game. After rewatching the highlights (BTW it has over 2 million views now which is shocking for a Falcons' game regardless of opponent), I realized that this game played out eerily similar to Super Bowl LIV. Week 15 The 49ers scored the first points. The game was 10-10 at the half The 49ers went up 13-10 in the third quarter. The 49ers go up 20-10 in the fourth quarter. Falcons outscore 49ers 19-2 in the fourth quarter (for a total of 21 points) after the 49ers last TD to win the game. Super Bowl LIV (literally copied and pasted the Week 15 stuff except for last line). The 49ers scored the first points. The game was 10-10 at the half The 49ers went up 13-10 in the third quarter. The 49ers go up 20-10 in the fourth quarter. Chiefs score 21 unanswered points to win the game.
  2. Any body watching this game? Shanahan offense still looks unstoppable. Coleman running for 1st downs with no defender touching him. Their starting front 4 have like 30 sacks combined. Why didn't we keep him
  3. I'm eating a giant ole plate of crow right now and it tastes like BWW wings tossed with garlic parm and blazin mixed (try it, its beast)... For the last year and first two games I was a massive Kyle hater. I swore against him worse than Eric Cartman "screw you Kyyyyy..." every time we stalled in the RZ or had a stupid draw play on third and long. What I've seen, since the Bucs game is total and utter adaptability, oneness with the players that have locked into the scheme, and such versatile playcalling and gameplanning that teams have no idea how to defend. I feel like all this time, Kyle was internally frustrated with that kind of thinking of "come on guys, just buy into the scheme I PROMISE IT'LL WORK" and stuck to his guns while adding in wrinkles that benefit the players until now they all see it. In our 3 wins we've seen 3 completely different gameplans and willingness to go to whatever works: Ball control, run heavy, 3-TE focused passing game. No-huddle, tempo - spread it out and find the open man with no focus. Then once teams keyed on the above, back to feeding Julio I feel like we can gameplan successfully against any defense and any set of matchups to find the best possible route. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of our 3TE, run-heavy stuff come back in Denver with maybe something new we haven't seen yet. If we can get our defense to continue to gel and play like the first 3 quarters yesterday, which I have faith in with Campbell hopefully coming back soon, we'll be in the NFC South drivers seat. I'm sorry for doubting you Kyle, you just needed time...
