  1. Rest in peace, Marlin Briscoe. Trailblazing quarterback for a lot of reasons, he began his pro career in 1968. Drafted by the Broncos as a Cornerback. Marlin "The Magician" actually threatened to leave the team if they didn't give him a tryout at quarterback. He played multiple positions in his college and pro career and was traded several times through the AFL and NFL, finishing his career at Patriots in 76. Don't forget this groundbreaking hero for all sports. Look him up if you don't know his legacy.
  2. Funny considering the other post here but I’d consider this a legit source: https://www.si.com/nfl/broncos/.amp/news/broncos-falcons-draft-trade-trey-lance-justin-fields-rumors ”According to Paige, new Broncos general manager George Paton holds "Mile High regard" for two quarterbacks in particular: Ohio State's Justin Fields and North Dakota State's Trey Lance, both of whom he's watched up close and personal this offseason. Paton, per Paige, slightly prefers Fields and "could do the [trade] deal if he’s willing to pay the price."”
  3. A week after announcing his decision to stay with the Baltimore Ravens, offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak has reportedly set his sights on becoming the next head coach of the Denver Broncos instead. Kubiak is scheduled to meet with the Broncos on Sunday in Houston and plans to accept the job if it's offered to him, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Kubiak has a history with Broncos general manager and former quarterback John Elway, having served as his offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 1995-98, and as his backup from 1983-91. While no announcement of any deal is expected until Tuesday, Schefter reports that all signs now point towards Kubiak getting the job. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-gary-kubiak-plans-to-accept-broncos-head-coach-job-if-offered-to-him/ar-AA8jmRW
