  1. Welp, looks like all the speculation is coming to fruition. Here's to that small chance he doesn't take it though
  2. Adam Schefter reports that the Atlanta Falcons have re-signed Roddy White to a 1-year, $2.5 million contract. This brings back a veteran presence and locker room leader to the Falcons and will allow Roddy White to retire as a member of the Falcons. I know this is a messed up one but April Fools.
  3. A week after announcing his decision to stay with the Baltimore Ravens, offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak has reportedly set his sights on becoming the next head coach of the Denver Broncos instead. Kubiak is scheduled to meet with the Broncos on Sunday in Houston and plans to accept the job if it's offered to him, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Kubiak has a history with Broncos general manager and former quarterback John Elway, having served as his offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 1995-98, and as his backup from 1983-91. While no announcement of any deal is expected until Tuesday, Schefter reports that all signs now point towards Kubiak getting the job. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-gary-kubiak-plans-to-accept-broncos-head-coach-job-if-offered-to-him/ar-AA8jmRW
  4. Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter · 10m So the Ray Rice Fallout continues with a new domestic violence policy. Six games for 1st offense, lifetime ban for 2nd.The NFL has stiffened its penalties for domestic violence, instituting a six-game suspension for a first-time offense and "lifetime ban" for a second. It's a direct response to the blistering criticism the league endured after banning Ray Rice for only two games earlier this summer. Commissioner Roger Goodell admitted he "didn't get it right" in the Rice case. Now, a first time domestic-violence offense is no longer viewed as less serious than smoking marijuana. It's an overdue change.
  5. Source: Roddy White has sprain By Adam Schefter Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White has a minor ankle sprain and it likely will prevent him from playing again this preseason, according to a source familiar with the injury. If this were the regular season, White would play, the source said. But the Falcons do not want to push him before he's ready in the preseason. White, 31, suffered the injury in the Falcons' 27-23 loss to Baltimore on Thursday night. The nine-year veteran has had six consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons and is a key piece in Atlanta's passing game, one of the NFL's most potent. http://espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp13/story/_/id/9575585/roddy-white-atlanta-falcons-minor-ankle-sprain-according-source
