  1. This is exactly right. There were several games last year where the defense actually was keeping our opponents in check and the offense would just completely hang them out to dry. No complimentary football at all.
  2. The fact that he's been in SF this preseason should help. Same as with Rosen, he should be able to walk in the door and be comfortable with the concepts Day 1. Obviously Davis will get the Lions share week 1, but it shouldn't be a steep learning curve.
  3. Bold prediction. I'ma say the D gets 3 INTs off of Hurts this game. 2 off batted balls at the D-Line, that fall in Debo and Foyes lap. One from either Harmon or Harris on a Hurts deep ball in double coverage. Everyone goes crazy about our new Dean Pees defense... ... then we never play that well ever again.
  4. idk about one of the best, but they are gonna so much better than last year just bc of no Dirk Koetter.
  5. As it stands right now LG is still the glaring weakness, IMO. Dline is obviously lacking the top end talent but at least there is some depth there. Between the DLine and LBers there's ~10-12 guys that can put their hand in the dirt or bring pressure off the edge. Obviously if we could get one or two guys in there that could brings some more juice would be great, but with a heavy rotation up front and if Pees can get them to play above their head, hopefully it won't be so so bad there.
  6. lol thanks. The teams roster page is up to date as well. As it stands right now LG is still the glaring weakness, IMO. 7. Sounds like it. Dude played well and has solid physical traits. 6'2 and ran a 4.3 at the combine. Should be a good piece for the defense. So RB room: Davis Ollison Patterson. Wonder if they have their eye on anyone else or if they view the spot as locked down by those three.
  8. I agree that Huntley has several good runs during the preseason, but I feel like it's hard to truly gauge the RB's against one another in these preseason games, especially with the inconsistency of the OL in front of them. From the open practice reports especially at the beginning of camp, it always seemed like Ollison was going to be safe to me. I would assume and hope the staff has a much better idea of who stays/goes from what they've seen in their closed practices and scrimmages over the small sample of the preseason.
  9. lolol ok guy. Just keep bashing the team. fvcking troll.
  10. You mean one of the few players that actually played well in the first half? Dude pretty much won his matchup almost every rep.
  11. The offense I'm not so worried about. The offensive starters have pretty much not played at all and think they'll look completely different come regular season. Franks isn't competent enough to run an offense at all. The defense on the other hand has had plenty of players that are going to play a lot in the regular season on the field the past couple weeks and they often look completely overmatched. Feeling less optimistic by the series tbh.
  12. Every Players ligaments and bones. We need strong ligaments and bones.
  13. I expect us to come out and curb stomp Philly tbh. Everybody is convinced we're no good because they've watched two preseason games of end of the roster guys playing. This team is going to be a completely different product on the field week 1. If our starters stay healthy, we're gonna crush some teams this year.
  14. On a different note. Somebody throw Dalman into the ******* LG competition. Dude kicked Miamis **** in the entire ******* game.
  15. At this point you just need a warm body to hold a clipboard. If Ryan gets hurt that seriously it doesn't matter who is back there, just start planning for the future...
  16. All I know is AJ McCarron is ****in horrible even when he's healthy. Get a different ****in QB on the team.
  17. I bet one of them could throw a 6 yard out route. McCarron couldn't even do that before he got hurt. Christian Blake was running wide open and he couldn't hit him. One of the easiest throws in the game.
  18. Miami acting like they won the ******* AFC championship after they scored a touchdown. That's our practice squad bruh, you're about to get your **** kicked in during the regular season.
  19. Arthurs Smith's a mean *** dude on the football field... I love it.
  20. I'm honestly ok with this offensive line. If Gono gets healthy and Mayfield and Dalman develop... it's not completely horrendous.
  21. We were one of the worst teams in the league with our starters last season... what did you possibly expect from the second and third players behind them? 😂 There were plenty of individual players and that played well last night and we had no serious injuries. That's all you want out of these games.
  22. Once the game starts slowing down for Richie Grant he's gonna be a baller. Just needs more reps is all.
  23. This should not be forgotten. As bad as most of the offensive players looked, almost all of the defensive guys made plays last night and the flashes that we saw from Dean Pees defense were great. Once we get starters on the field... this defense gonna destroy the defenses we saw called by Dan Quinn.
  24. Not concerned. I do wish Gono was healthy so he could be getting the reps at one of the tackle spots. If Mayfield is gonna make an impact I still think it would be at LG and wish he was getting the reps there, but he's still getting a ton of work in. As a rook... it probably doesn't matter. Reps are reps.
