  1. Thank you for the attention, but what do you think about Vick coaching the Falcons???
  2. It may be a little outside the box, but Michael Vick would be the second best possible candidate for your Atlanta Falcons head coaching position. What if we've just been trying to get to where we've always been? Michael Vick created the modern Falcons and its time for him to create the new modern Falcons again. Michael knows football. He is respected by all players. He is the reason the dreaded Falcon filter was installed and in a poetic twist Vick can now pass through the filter to complete the greatest comeback story of all time. With Vick back as head coach, we can finally kick Matt Ryan to the curb. We can spend all that extra cap space on some vicious dogs for both sides of the trenches! And we can bring in Jameis Winston to double up on the redemption.
  3. I think Trump could bring in Harbaugh to run the defense.
  4. Look this is not meant to be a political post in any way, but we should seriously consider Trump as our next head coach!!! The guy is a fighter, a winner, and he likes football (he saved college football this year). He is great at running organizations of all types and doesn't care what anyone outside the organization does or says, much like Bellicheck. I think he could come in here and just build the best assistant coaching staff that the world has ever seen. He brings an attitude and energy level that will infect the whole staff like positive vibes at a super spreader rally. I did hear he is going to run a media company but lets be honest he could handle coaching the Falcons and be better than Quinn even while running the media company. Plus his tweets taunting the other teams will be amazing. We would instantly become the most hated and loved team in America and the rest of the planet. ARTHUR PUT TRUMP FIRST ON YOUR LIST!!! BRING HIM HOME MCKAY!!!!
  5. If the Dems can elect an old senile retread by switching to writing votes down on paper and hand counting them, the we can win a lombardi by herding up a bunch of stampeding bulls.
  6. If you do not weigh 250+ pounds in your underwear then we do not want you on the team. Even the kicker should be a big ol haus just to send a message
  7. No, it's a mindset. The only joke is our franchise and we need to pack much more power into the punchline.
  8. We need a Tim Tebow horse in here, a big old bull. Then let's just run power formations and triple options, stop signing these high paid QBs and pass catchers. Pump more cash into the lines than every other franchise, get the mules kicking up mud. Triple TE sets, fattest and baddest. New team approach. Cheap girzzly bears that drag the opposition straight ahead like a **** plow, toughest team in the league. Grinding out wins, holding leads, ripping off face masks, crapping down throats. Gumby has been an all time great QB for us, but lets trade him to SF before they realize their window has closed. Time for a new direction!!!
  9. There is one more thing the Falcons did years ago that they will probably do again soon this season. End of the game, we score a TD for a one point lead, so we go for two to extend the lead to three points.... except Matthew Iceman gets intercepted, the Panthers take it to the house, and win by one point!
  10. Bridgewater all day. Even when it appears the game is over he can still get 75 more yards plus a TD. Jimmy G is terrible so that's much more unpredictable.
  11. Got rid of Sark to appease the mob. Kind of like why Vick was jailed for two years, people marching to defund the police, etc.
  12. I just realized there are seven teams with only one or zero wins. We already have the tie breaker against the Vikings. So we really do have our work cut out, it's a dogfight at the bottom.
  13. No we spent too much of our total team cap on Matthew Ice and Julio Jones and then flubbed too many times on our cheap draft pick guys.
  14. Jets, Giants, and Jags are all stiff competition. We have been barely squeaking out losses and it seems like it will be hard to keep it going all year.
  15. Nobody quit. Each year is different. Guys get injured, they get gun shy, they have personal issues that come and go, and the players on the team are always changing. In 2016 we had Julio and Matt Ryan in their prime, the offensive line had virtually no injuries to starters until the super bowl, and we had a creative offensive scheme in its second year. We just got hot that year for a variety of reasons. It was not repeatable because we lost coaches and players the very next year and did not replace them with better coaches and players, and the good players we did have got older and less healthy.
  16. Maybe before TD was fired he was able to extend Ryan to another record contract. Ryan had a few nice throws against the Panthers and did a good job on third and long of checking down and letting his teammates make plays.

  18. Don't make 1st down on 4th: 30%*(-14%)=-4.2% Make 1st down on 4th: 70%*+6%=+4.2% Make FG = 0% Miss FG = 5%*(-14%) = -0.7% Go for it: 4.2%-4.2%=0 Kick FG: 0%-0.7%=-0.7 0>-0.7 So you go for it.
  19. Word on the street is Paul Johnson is getting tired of retirement and wants to show the world that his triple option can work at the NFL level. He says the big advantage will be that he does not need a QB who makes $35M per year and instead can just use practice squad guys while he spends all of the salary cap on beast defensive linemen instead. Also, instead of high paid WRs he will just load up on RBs that can't command big salaries in the NFL along with some corn fed road graders on the OL. He does not need many assistant coaches or computers and will be calling all plays by running someone in from the sidelines and not risking being overheard on the headset. He is only 63 and while his mental facilities have slowed a little bit he says if Joe Biden can run for president then he can definitely coach on the Falcons.
  20. Youre arguing with the other guy. I agree with your position.
  21. The math on the graph favored the call that they made. It showed a 0% increase in likelihood of winning based on the FG. It showed 100% if they made a first down (half yard). It showed only -14% if they didn't make the first down. So you have about a 70% chance of a 100% win, versus a 30% chance of reducing on 14% and still having an 80% chance to win. Or keep it at 94% with a FG in the rain, which really means there is some chance you miss that. So you go for it.
  22. That's hindsight and they didn't NEED the two point conversion that they failed to convert. They did convert two 4th downs from much farther than two yards.
