  1. It appears the Falcons will be wearing white at home for the first time in ages as the Broncos have announced their uniform schedule for 2020 and they’re listed as blue for the 11/8 matchup at the Benz. https://www.denverbroncos.com/news/broncos-to-wear-alternate-navy-jerseys-vs-titans-announce-season-uniform-schedul
  2. I found them on social media from the photo shoot for the new uniforms. These look like they were geared towards the retail for NFL Shop. I’ve also found a number of shots of the new jerseys already in the wild. I’ll post them so we can get a look at the fan jerseys and the different versions. For reference, there are 4 tiers of jerseys. The lowest tier is the Legend which is a cheaper material with sublimated graphics. Nothing is stitched on or printed. 100% sublimated. I do not believe any of the below photos actually show a Legend. The next level and most common is the Game.
  3. Based off of this photo of a Limited, it sure looks like it’s printed. You can see some shine to the letters whereas the stitched material usually appears duller and pure red. Where is this review you mentioned? I’d be curious to see.
  4. The Rams got a special exemption to wear their throwbacks as much as possible. They tried to distance themselves from the St Louis look and eliminated a lot of the gold from their uniforms (helmet horns and pants) and tried to wear white a lot. There were still small bits of gold on the jerseys. NFL merchandising rules wouldn’t allow them to change their jerseys (hence only changing the helmet and pants) without resetting the 5 year timer for new uniforms (which they didn’t want to do because they are launching their new design this season in conjunction with their new stadium). They also coul
  5. Doesn’t Julio wear Under Armour shoes? That could potentially explain why he didn’t partake in the photo shoot if he has a sponsorship with another sportswear company.
  6. Yes, I understand that. My point was why wouldn’t this new black outline follow the design protocol of the logo and utilize a thicker black outline on the back of the wings and a thinner outline towards the beak and claw? That would make sense and follow the current design rather than slapping a generic outline with a consistent weight which clashes with the white and silver outlines.
  7. I’ll take a guess here and say it’s fake. For the main reason, I think it’s too much of a departure of franchise tradition at this point. Over 50 years wearing red or black lids, only to swap to gray? Don’t see it happening. For the second reason, and one which I think I can point to evidence in the photo, just take a look at the extra black outline and compare it to this: The current logo has different outline stroke weights which are thicker on the left side and get thinner on the right as the bird is in motion. Compare that to the supposed leak, which has an extra consis
  8. It’s not done in this manner because the NFL is very tight with its properties and that includes ample lead time for manufacturers to produce the new gear and get it into the market, as well as inform sponsors, commercial partners, and TV networks about changes to reflect the new branding. Think of a company like Nike. Imagine how many Todd Gurley and Julio Jones jerseys are going to be in demand in a few weeks time. They need sufficient time to manufacturer and supply their vendors with gear. It’s a different era than the nixed 49ers logo that lasted for a few days before they backtracked on
  9. This concept of mine is a blending of eras. It uses the red helmet and black jersey combination of the original 1960s teams. Light gray is used in place of white, reminiscent of the old sets with the gray pants and occasionally gray numbers. There are several combinations available as we saw the team use in the mid 2000s. I used a single stripe design that thins out in the middle, similar to the wing- yet the shape is stillcontained within a traditional stripe shape. This evokes a bit of movement and speed without resorting to odd shapes and lines like we've seen from Nike lately. The str
