Trade way back to 20'ish and get Najee Harris and a boat load of picks for defense.

Grit and determination is what this game is about.  It must be demonstrated for 17 weeks.   There is not a single soul on this team that is looking for a college kid to come in and save their jobs and could give a crap about draft spots.  I am with them.

If we indeed have had GREAT high draft picks, which based on your logic, guarantees anything, then why have we not been consistent perennial contenders? Why do you all complain about these GREAT high draft picks, to include Ryan?

A top 5 pick? Matt Ryan
I know let’s go top 6... Julio Jones & Jake Matthews.
I would say pretty ******* good.

Didn't we recently have top draft picks? How'd that work out? Whatever happened to some of the top draft prospects over the years that were touted here?

Don’t understand why you continue to say this. I’m obtuse? but YOU are rooting for your team to lose and claims it benefits them? Come again. Someone explained it to me. I got it now, but the logic to me is bizarre. They lose and they will get better draft picks. That guarantees what exactly?

Even more ironic is, the same people cheering for their own team to lose are the same ones trashing the team for not playing well.
    Stupid is...

Uh, yes!!! Shouldn’t it be? Why would a fan of a team root for said team to lose?

1). It would be funny if McKay is named GM. This is still possible and something that just popped in my head because they are proceeding with HC interviews BEFORE even fielding a GM.
2). The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Be careful what you wish for. I'm not saying to keep Morris, but there are no guarantees. See #4.
3). Many here wanted EB, the OC from Kansas City. Suddenly, since Sunday, crickets abound.
4). Hot names don't win championships. Belichick wasn't a hot name prior to arriving to NE. Pederson wasn't, either. Tomlin? People thought Coughlin was over the hill and too hard-nosed when he left JAX. Maybe Carroll was the latest and greatest when arrived to SEA, but that's about it. Quinn? Where's Quinn now? At the time, he was the second coming. Now, he looks like a doofus and it's ever more apparent that he rode a Shanahan-led offense to the SB. It's like the best employee making a bad manager look good.
Raheem may work out if he can learn from this season and hire a new offensive staff. If I am interviewing him, I'm asking these tough questions.

I will say that the Atlanta Football Falcons played with heart today on both defense and even special teams. The offense showed flashes of what they could be (and should have been all season). Held them to 10 points through most of the game. 17 given up overall to a team that hung 32 on the aints. Gave the golden boy fits all game. 50 yard INT. Close 2nd INT that may have sealed the deal. An unlikely miss by Koo that would have sent it to OT.
    I'm in a good place.
Get an OC and OL coach in here. FA vet and draft trenches, RB, and safety.

Yall are funny. A team will purposefully lose just to control who they face in the postseason . . . laughable. Then they certainly don't deserve to be in the post-season with that mentality (which I doubt any such mentality exists among professional athletes). If anything, if they wanted to play someone, they'd want nothing than to knock off their division rival in the post-season, no matter their perceived level of competition.

Ahaha what is the fascination with the top 5 pick?
Are y'all really thinking a rookie qb is going to come here and turn this team in to playoff contenders?
What are the real expectations for the team for those who think a rookie qb is the best option in the draft? Are you prepared for prolonged losing or mediocre seasons? Because none of these qbs coming out will give us any more wins than Ryan under centre
