  1. Follow the rules of the board, that's all. This is a commercial message board that represents the Atlanta Falcons Football Franchise, note the url: >> boards.atlantafalcons.com << There are other NFL message boards for clowning if your posts are intended to harass, belittle, humiliate, threaten or cause embarrassment to a fellow member. BTW you know nothing about my life, and I am immune to posts that attack me personally, although they will be reported when they violate the terms of service, as will any that I notice intending to harass others. I've read enough posts on this board to understand the maturity level of most of persons I'm dealing with. And my post was serious.
  2. Nope. Not built to last past 35, big mistake giving him that huge contract. 4-6 in the playoffs, choked in his only Super Bowl appearance. Julio is the star. And a reminder: By using the Atlanta Falcons' service, you agree that you will not post any of the following material in message boards, chat rooms or interactive areas: · Any communication that is intended to harass, belittle, humiliate, threaten or cause embarrassment to a fellow member. Violators will be reported. https://archive.org/
  3. I don't know what you're thinking, thank God. I do know what you said, posted or wrote.
  4. If not their should be, if they can pay Ryan $150,000,000 they certainly can afford a $10 an hour college student. And there are AI programs that moderate and flag 24/7. I'm done with this conversation, you know where I stand on the issue.
  5. I'm guessing that like most message boards, particularly a commercial one representing an NFL team, when a user 'reports' a violation of the terms of service a moderator is immediately notified, a link to the post is presented, and the mod can pretty much make up his or her mind as to whether the post is objectionable and remove it less than 5 minutes. Some mods may leave it up there because they think it's funny, or they have a personal animosity towards the poster. In the case of the latter, that is not acceptable.
  6. "We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so within a reasonable time frame if we determine that removal is necessary." And you are responsible if it is brought to your attention and not removed as soon as you hear of it. And hate speech is obvious, not really left to *determination* by a moderator. i.e. calling someone '********'.
  7. ........I can formulate my own opinion and remain objective, not following group think or a fanboy attitude. Kind of like that?
  8. Did you suspend, or at least give a strike to the poster that violated the 'terms of service'? This is no joke, this message board represents the Fans, the Falcons Organization and the NFL as well as the charitable work they do. I won't stand for defamation of a class of people who have no choice as to how they were born or personal attacks on individuals for their opinions. Kids read these boards, including kids that may have an "Intellectual disability" or friend or family member that does. That is in your 'Terms of Service' and part of your job as moderator. I've seen these type comments on this board all too many times and they just sit there. I hope you and the rest of the mods on this board are more proactive in removing personal attacks or attacks on a group of persons that have a disability they did not choose to be born with. And yes I'm taking screen shot and archiving in the event I am banned. https://web.archive.org/
  9. Lot of waiting and hoping plugging in unproven rookies to veteran positions. Clay was a hard worker, I watched all his pre game warm-ups at the Benz (sat very close to where he would practice) and he was always in focus and in tune with his Gold Beats Headphones not talking to anyone. Always brought pressure and was often double teamed, I have a lot of respect for his work ethic.
  10. I've been watching this team since 1980 when they beat the 9ers and lost to Dallas. I'm a realist. 2016 was our shot, we blew it. I don't see this year being any better than last. Clay, Gabriel and Poe gone. 8-8. As for Ryan: With a 4-6 record in the playoffs and no Super Bowls wins he was overpaid.
  11. I took a screen shot and sent it to NFL.com https://www.ndsccenter.org/ and the NFLPA that does a lot of charitable work for *********. The fact that it's still up speaks volumes as to the mods lack of banning personal attacks, and it's not that I care, it's that you are allowing name calling by using a derogatory term for the mentally challenged which seems to be 90% of this board.
  12. Y'all have Kanye West syndrome. You want to silence the voices that disagree with you. Pathetic. This is America folks not North Korea. 8-8 Guaranteed this season, Tampa wins the division. Freeman is out at least two games with a concussion and TeCo (the better back imo) is GONE after this season as is Sanu. Overpaid for Freeman, Ryan, and Trufant. So now we get to rotate rookies in and out to stay under the cap.
  13. No I'm suggesting they gave him too big a contract and too much money, and there's a word for that: Overpaying. To feed his ego and make him the highest paid player in the NFL. Definitely not the best QB in the league, by a LONG SHOT! I'm done with you.
  14. Isn't the objective to win a Super Bowl, not getting paid top dollar to lose them? Is $150 million well spent if we don't win a Lombardi? Never mind don't answer homer.
  15. Well DQ is known for being part of some excellent decisions in clutch situations, like SB games for the Seahawks and Falcons.
  16. I'm betting TeCo is not long for Atlanta.
  17. Report: Julio Jones 'isn't going anywhere' despite social media scare https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-julio-jones-isnt-going-anywhere-despite-social-media-scare/ar-AAwfU0n the argument is mute.
  18. The only way I see JJ being traded is to free up cap space for Matty and his twins, not to move up in the draft. You lose Julio and you lose a whole dimension on offense. Losing JJ frees up $12,900,000 in cap space. I don't GAS either way. I watch whoever they put on the field in September.
  19. If he was being trading they would have done it before training started. The official Falcon's website still features him, Matt and free on the landing page. If they want to piss off a ton of fans and watch attendance drop like a lead brick in the Chattahoochee....Trade JJ.
  20. Time for JJ to focus on his game and get back his mojo. IG FB Twatter are all distractions, JJ wants to be #1 and a Hall of Famer. I'm sure his work this off season with Hall of Fame WRs had a lot to do with him deleting all his social media noise and focusing on his game. He's not going anywhere, he signed a 5 year deal and is the face of the franchise. He is upset that last season he was beat out by Antonio Brown for the #1 spot as the NFL's top receiver. FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS.
  21. Takkarist McKinley may be a future HoF'er if he stays healthy and a Falcon. I just got a rookie Joe Cribbs card, and that guy reminds me of Coleman, Takk Reminds me of Cornelius Bennett in his prime. We overpaid Freeman imo.
  22. That's not good news, unless it allows us to keep TeCo. Best #2 WR out there, and my daughter would be crushed! Oh and Sanu has a perfect QB Rating as well!! I have to agree with Ezekiel "Playing with a rival's balls is not good!"
  23. 3rd Ignore of the day, that's a record! I don't know what is about facts that brings out the crazy in people?
