I want Gary and think he'll be available. I think he'll be one of those players who is better in the NFL than college like Cam Jordan and Carlos Dunlap.

100%. A rotation of him, Grady and Crawford inside in nickel will be awesome as well.
2 birds and 1 stone. We get better on the edge and inside.

Rashan Gary is the player I'm hoping we get. We've been looking for a Michael Bennett type 5T for a while and now we might have a legitimate chance of getting one in Rashan Gary.

Good decision given the quality of the DT talent in the 2019 draft. Could be a top 10 pick in 2020.

But the run offense being stuck with Wes and Garland again due to injury and now without Free makes it his fault our run game lets us be in those positions to begin with! ... Or...
Ya, I think people here just aren’t qualified to make this decision; aside from a few with enough time to dig and keep it objective.
Mob mentality never solves anything. Gets results but not what you may think.
And yes, Chester and Schraeder were beasts in 2015/2016 together on the right side; while at LG Levitre was our best OG since Justin Blalock retired. We’ve got downgrades at all 3 positions in performance the last 2 years.
To top it off, we don’t have a lead blocker when in short yardage; nor Free.

We have a Top 10 offense, and a bottom 10 defense.
Yeah, let’s fire the OC and keep the DC.

Sark gets the most undeserved criticism on this message board. Shanahan’s magical 2016 season has severely clouded the expectations of several people. It’s made them delusional. Sarks offenses in his 2 years with the team have been ranked in the top 10 in yards per game. Has he done a great job? No. But he has done good enough. OP pointed out the offensive line which is a great point and another unfair criticism on Sark. I would also double down and add Freeman. Should the falcons let Sark go, they really aren’t going to get someone who will do better than what he’s delivered. And that’s because it’s not really his fault. Fix the O-line, get Freeman back, and the offense is much deadlier
