  1. Hoop is a top 5 TE and leads the league for TE's for 2019. He might not be Gronk or Tony but he ain't toilet paper either.
  2. Agree. I was gonna sell those seats. Now I'm gonna go see the game.
  3. On this week in 2013 the Falcons were 2 - 7 from 13 - 3 the previous year.
  4. Bengals have officially said AJ is not up for trade.
  5. Already losing but the refs screw us more
  6. Falcons playing with heart too late
  7. Update from the Stadium. Home game for the Seahags. Falcons are being outplayed and outcoached in every phase.
  8. I always would rather win.
  9. My wife and I will be there. No expectations of a win. Drink some beers, watch some .... well something that resembles football.
  10. I will be surprised if he is not the Falcons HC in 2020.
  11. Sorry man. I saw that on the Gofundme. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
  12. I hate to hear that man. It's hard but death comes for us all eventually. At 56 I've lost both parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles. Worse, I've also lost a number of close friends to many things. A massive heart attack got two of my hunting budfies 10 years apart. The best man at my wedding committed suicide 6 years ago. A friend of 35 years lost his battle with liver cancer just 3 months ago. No ... it's not just you. Life can just be hard. But you learn to find joy over time and through the hardships. On the school thing. Dont give up dude. Take a short break, get your head on straight and get back in there.
  13. Bought one for my Son for his BD early this month. I hope he wears it proudly cause the 12-gauge had a good run in the ATL
  14. I disagree but am at work and just don't have time to look up the Stats. I think I saw somewhere that our Average O-line weight in 2019 is 319lbs which is improved but I think no where near where it needs to be. Quinn has always wanted the D to be lighter and faster.
  15. That is spot on! Adding to that, a great coach would be more objective in who they have and know "where to fill gaps". Mediocre coaches believe their own hype and think player Talent is enough. The trenches are undersized on both sides. Every team knows this and literally overpowers everyone on our line. Our D has been a joke for almost a decade and until we have a top 10 D, we are looking at mediocrity for years to come.
  16. The Falcons will have to practically give this guy away. His upside is an illusion that has been seen through.
  17. Its a shame because there IS so much talent on this team. But its underachieving talent. You would think that the executives for the Falcons would have learned from other teams that have faced the same thing. The Falcons bought into their own hype and thought they were a few moves from a SB when they were actually locking themselves into mediocrity for 4 to 5 years. All too often players get that big contract and the "Will to overachieve" disappears. I knew the year that we went to the SB that we had a 3 to 5 year window to get back in. I'm sad to say that we ended up on the lower end of that spectrum. This season is over. The team and the front office knows it. They just don't want to say it out loud. Trading Sanu sends the signal that its rebuild time. Time to offload, get some picks for what you have today. Picks for this coming season and even some picks for 2021. A full rebuild could get the Falcons to a 8 - 8 (or slightly better) year within two seasons and some really good picks could get the Falcons back into the mix in 3 to 4 years. I would also get away from the idea that we need smaller faster guys in the trenches. Nope... we gotta beef up on both sides but also get some guys that you could substitute in when you want to run a play where faster guys get you there.
  18. Next offensive series. Run, run, run, punt
  19. Poor excuse for tackling. This team has lost heart
  20. O line is undersized and underpowered. Matt was down in 1.5 secs and now might be injured
  21. Hike... Fowler immediately in the backfield
  22. Offense knows they have lost. They look deflated between plays.
  23. Where was the rest of the team while Free was getting manhandled? Reminds me of a game in Smitty's last season
  24. Hard to watch the calls in this game. Rams get away with holding, but Falcons are getting called over and over
