Chaney's not exciting as an offensive coach to me but he's gotten the most out of his QBs in his history.
and yeah, beside something really crazy happening, I'm about to concede another 2003/2011 complete beating in the SECCG. Maybe it'll be bad enough that it'll knock some sense into Kirby's head.

Brady's next move is likely to be going back to the NFL. They are flipping his and Ensminger's roles. He will be the OC and Ensminger will be more of an analyst/secondary role and he ain't going to leave for a lateral move.
That said, since the second bye, a lot more of this outside of Auburn has been Fromm, and Fromm alone than Coley. Though some of it can be directed at the downgrade in coaching for QBs still as well with him having poor mechanics/footwork a lot more than he was putting out previously (and one case likely costed a TD period in recent weeks), and him seemingly getting more and more in his head. But I just think the offensive coaching room was better recently even if Georgia still wasn't putting out one of the sexier offenses.
Jim Chaney was the Xs and Os guy, and while I wasn't too excited about him as an OC, he does get a lot out of his QBs in his history. Jay Johnson set offensive records at Louisiana Lafayette, and he was the guy that helped implement a very effective zone run scheme with RPOs as an analyst. James Coley at least to me from what I know is just purely a great recruiter, and the RAH RAH guy that gets players pumped up to play for him.
This year right now you have the rah rah guy, Shawn Watson instead of Jay Johnson, whose last good season with offenses was when Teddy Bridgewater was still playing college football, and Todd Hartley, who might be a good recruiter but hasn't ever had a hand in any offense outside of coaching TEs.
If I'm honest, the offensive end looks very similar to the mistakes that Nick Saban made to counter Kirby's recruiting. Saban hired recruiting specialists to counter him at first and it worked in the recruiting world, but might very well have costed him a National Title last year.
I don't think Kirby can keep the staff as is. At the minimum, he needs to send Watson packing after this year. I think putting Bobo on staff in a support role to work with Fromm would help (this is assuming he's fired, but it looks likely, it's also assuming that he wants the step back, which he might for a while to focus on his health). If not Bobo, I'd turn to the NFL like LSU did before this season and pluck another young assistant that has learned under an offensive mastermind.

Falcons may be trying to build a line finally for their QB to help extend his playing years for longer than some think, but I kind of think Ryan ends up more like Palmer on when he goes then a Brady or even Brees. That would mean he has 4 seasons left after this season. Coincidentally, his contract runs through 2023.
Maybe he plays for a little longer, but I wouldn't give him another extension. I'd let it play out at this point and would think about his replacement "potentially" in either 2021 or 2022.
I wouldn't draft a QB this year unless it makes sense (right situation in the later rounds than the first with the QB being BPA, or MAYBE Tua).

If Hammonds can stay engaged and play up to his talent level that made him a top 50 guy...
If Wheeler's passing and creativity inside continues to be a factor (as they'll try to make him make jumpers at some points)...
If Edwards can avoid slow starts...
If role players keep doing good things for Georgia.
There really might be something there this time. Georgia Tech had actually had a good win at NC State (depends on how you feel about them though too) to start the year even if they've been pretty awful recently. They might be better.
I'm finally going to be able to watch in a few days. Tough one vs Dayton to start, would be nice to get a couple wins in Maui before going home though.

Georgia's going to need to win TOP and limit LSU's possessions. Your best shot is to slow LSU down, not stop them. Auburn is the only team that was actually able to pull off a slow down but they still allowed over 500 yards, lost TOP, and allowed several possessions. I don't think that would be a winning formula.
The offense is probably going to have to draw up at least 5 TDs either way though.

You probably have to go with a 6 man defensive backfield a good bit and give up the idea of getting pressure some (not completely, you'd mix it up with a few mush rushes), and not place as much priority on the run (don't ignore it though). Mark Webb and Tyrique Stevenson can play quasi-LB'er roles in this defense. Stevenson has been comped to Minkah Fitzpatrick actually who played a bunch of roles for Alabama (CB/S/ILB sometimes).
You're not stopping them though. They just ooze of being like 2010 Auburn to me, but less sh*tty (especially if I ignore the sec rant). Team of destiny like stuff. Maybe it can be stopped though.

Jimbo ONLY wanted him for his recruiting, he's been the play caller in the cases with Coley there and I'm pretty sure he calls plays now.
but it's not all him. Fromm has just plain regressed this year, it can be called that now, although it's very possible he regressed due to not as much help coaching wise.

That 3rd down was supposed to go to the TE but he was held...legally I believe too.
That also should've been 3rd and 2 too.

Its actually rumored that Iowa is not even in the picture by a guy that has a connection up at Penn State on a different Georgia board. He said that he postponed because he's having a hard time choosing between 3 schools.
From the way it sounds, he would have been committing to Penn State if he didn't postpone.

I don't think Auburn is going to win this game but I'll be surprised if they don't score some. The tendency for the most part when they've lost vs Georgia under Gus has been for Georgia to not come out ready for what Gus has planned, actually giving Auburn fans false hope, then Auburn struggles after the script runs out and Georgia's defense settles in. Auburn has led early in all of their recent losses to Georgia.
So, if it goes as the recent Georgia wins vs Auburn, we will see Auburn strike first or at the very least lead early, actually show competent offense early, but stall out after that.
It really wouldn't surprise me if the final score looks a lot like what 2015 was. Auburn strikes early on their scripted drive, but after that is not able to do much, while Georgia puts together a couple of drives, maybe kicking a FG on one and scoring a TD on another. Otherwise, it's a defensive strugglefest. It goes into halftime at 10-7 and after the half, the struggle continues for the most part. A couple legit drives are put together (combined), but they aren't converted into 6. The backbreaker here is Nix making a mistake in the slugfest that gives Georgia a short field. Sometime in the 4th, this happens and Georgia converts off it for 6 to put it away. With a little time left, Auburn kicks another FG, but Georgia recovers the onside to ice the game and takes a couple knees.
I've said elsewhere that I like 24-17 as the final to keep up a strange pattern that we've seen, but I like the smell of 20-13 a bit more now that I typed that out.

Please don't confuse the idea of Parker looking great offensively with the idea that he's going to take the starting job from Collins! He still has that porous defense (even if he is trying more now, he's a bad defender anyway because of his lateral ability) and is too much of an ISO guy. Collins isn't the Hawks best player but he might be the most important right now because of his movement creating space, and it's going to show (and it's still questionable with him imo on if he starts on a winning team as well, but with Parker it is a definite NO, and all you need to do is point at the Bucks to see example A, B, and C as why).
I'd say it's more likely that you see Parker traded at the deadline after this goes into the tubes then Parker kept and kept as the starter. At the very MOST if he can be talked into it maybe he resigns as a bench guy.

If that game with LSU was next week I wouldn't feel great about it. Heck, next week is Auburn and if Cager can't go (which is most likely the case, okay maybe not but another hard hit on that shoulder will mean an early night for him) I don't feel good about that game.
There's still time however to find the offensive rhythm that was found in the closing weeks of 2018.
But we really vitally need for Fromm to not play like he did vs South Carolina and tonight (throwing Kentucky out again), or Auburn, even with Bo Nix not being great, could get very ugly.

Regardless of how you feel, can't be confident about having a 3rd string center and one of your tackles out (the spot that's done well).
It's setting up for doomsday scenario.

You are not stopping this Alabama team. You have to just slow them down. It was a good job.
