Tired of the incompetent coaching of this team. The stupid owner keeps falling for these used car salesmen coaches who dont know X's and O's when he should have hired Rex Ryan to begin with. This franchise isnt doing anything and Blank is the reason, he prefers a good interview over tried and true coaches. DQ should have been fired in 2018 but Artie kept him because he was selling Tshirts. Defense is the worst falcons defense in 3 decades and the talent level is questionable outside of the DL and Deion.
I will be a chiefs fan for the rest of this season, this is a repeat of getting hot too late and finishing 7-9.

    Edit:
Also tired of leaving points on the field.

I’ve been Quinn’s biggest supporter, but well coached teams don’t do this time after time.  I’m fully on board with getting rid of DQ tonight, firing Koetter as well and trying to reset the season.  We are situationally poor and when we win it’s due to simply having much better players.  Do we not practice ST’s?  That on sides was unacceptable.  Julio, McGary & Takk likely time miss a few weeks apiece
Im sure we set another NFL record today.  Dallas wins despite 4 fumbles in 1st quarter.  Just no excuse.
We don’t run outside zone.  PA is thrown in occasionally.  Don’t let the numbers fool you: this is not a well coached team offensively.  S*** enhances S***’s smell and it’s time to clear out the s***.

I liked Smith but DQ has given us the best 4-year results.
Honestly, losing shouldn't be the main determinant for a head coach to lose his job. I'm more concerned if he has lost the ears in the locker room and looking at how the team rallied during the second half of last year, it's clear to me that this team still loves playing for DQ.
I like the talent on the field by TD and the defensive coaches brought in by DQ... I hate the decisions on the offensive side of the ball. But you don't throw the baby out with the bath water and start over... Fix offensive play-calling, give the guys some continuity and let them work

I was actually pleasantly surprised with yesterday's game...
I can point to two failed fourth down attempts that lead to Seattle TDs that would have changed the entire complexion of the game.
But did the DL get after the passer... YES
Did our passing attack look impressive... YES
    Did Gurley look healthy... YES
We knew that our secondary was a question mark... Neal is coming back from injury, AJ is a rookie with limited off-season. Oliver looked shaky, but some times we have to give credit where it is due... Russ dropped some dimes yesterday.
    All in all... Good start.

This game will tell me a lot about where we are and if changes we actually made.
With our DL, we'll need to be bringing heat on Wilson from LB and safety positions that DQ refused to do all year.
If I see blitzes that's a signal of true change.

We don't need him cause we've got Brian Hill? Get outta here with that nonsense. Give me Fournette in a heartbeat. Hill can only dream about being as good as Fournette.

Personally I have no problems taking talent from the Jags or the Browns... Two teams that are notorious for creating players with "bad" attitudes.
A lot of us on here aren't being realistic. If you say you aren't interested because he's potentially a cancer... then fine. But to those that say we don't need him you're being ridiculous... Especially if you call names like Brian Hill as part of your reason. Having bodies in a room, doesn't mean a position is filled. If Hill and Ito were that good we wouldn't have taken the risk on Gurley, who is a one-year rental. If he passes waivers, I'd love to give him a fair 3-year deal similar to Fowler.
PS... Fowler was also labelled to have "character issues" by Jags and he's the teammate from heaven here... Just saying

If he came cheap enough, I'd be all for it. He's a good RB and would make a nice RBBC with Gurley. Obviously can't tie up too much money at RB but Todd already has some concerns and I trust Fournette more than Hill if Todd has to miss significant time.

I will be forever not happy with the safety position when it’s just an oft-injured Keke and the midget duo of Kazee and Allen. That said, I’m liking the construction of the roster overall for a few reasons:
    1) Interior DL: Grady, Kominsky, Marlin and Teyler..big, stout, mixed in with length and athleticism. Good mix
    2) Edge: still not 100 percent, but Fowler is angry and mean, maybe Takk picks up his habits. I like adding Charles who was used badly In Miami. Can Cominsky be that Justin Smith type? That’s the wild card. I think we still need another edge.
    3) LBs: Debo, Foye and the new add of Buchanan makes me smile. Lots of speed. I’m not sure @Knight of God and @vel agree with me, but I like Mychal Walker’s game. He’s got length and more nastiness than Campbell.
    4) Safety is still not to my standard. That said, I did predict Hawkins getting drafted (got one lol) and I like him. Does Buchanan end up at SS if Keke gets hurt?
    5) Cornerbacks. I’m in the minority here, but I love Terrell. He got blistered against LSU and hung tough. Guess what Isaiah Simmons got blistered too. Burrows was simply on fire. But Terrell is tough. I still like Oliver, love Sheffield and think Miller might surprise. Signing Dennard makes me fee much better.
OVERALL B to B+ depending on how it shakes out. I do think we need another edge like griffin, or even a play for a one year prove it for Clowney.
QB: Matt is still great. Call him a grinder, call him an awkward swan, but the dude hangs tough. He’s been through so many offensive systems, and in year 2 he always gets it. I still hate Koetter
WR: what can you say? Ridley, Julio, and Gage make it pretty and great
TE: I’m like @Vandy the trade for Hurst gave us. Joker that can line out wide, in-line nd even h-back. Keep your eyes on Pinkney, he was I drafted, but watch his junior year at Vanderbilt, not last year.
I rarely tout an UDFA, but this 6’5 260 pound kid could surprise. I love Graham already. TE corps is long , athletic, tough and better. Screw Hoop and his fitness game
OL: Bros’ I’m stoked. One we got Hennessy. Kid is mad athletic, whether at G or Center.even if he spot starts or is depth. We don’t go down like we did in SB if Mack gets hurt, or like last year with the G drama. Great pick. Mack still balls. Matthews gets stronger and nastier every year. Y’all know I love some Lindstrom and big Mac at RT, folks who played ball know that getting your asss whupped makes you better. Big Mac will be dominant. Bet. Lindstrom might be an all pro
RB: give me 50 percent of Gurley over 100 percent of rbs not named Zeke or Saquan. Forget all the injury Bs out of Rams camp last year. Fact is McVey and his offense got exposed, Goff ain’t great and their OL couldn’t execute. Gurley still had 14 total TDs last year. Beast year coming. Bet and word to y’all’s mothers on him Beasting  out. I’m Still not a hill guy, but as a number 2 or 3? Sure. Ito is a decent scat back and can be a utility guy. Ollison is the one I’m watching.
@Knight of God and I will be doing backflips like mongloids with tourettes saying “Fuukk yeah” a 1000 times if Ollie emerged and we had a Gurley, Ollie tandem.
im big on Ollie because he has a nose for the end zone and he’s 240.

Overall offense: A- but it could go way lower if Koetter fuccks things up. Feed the beast of gUrley, use those TEs and open up the WRs. Old school smash them first, if you’re going to stay with vertical offense

ramonezy got a reaction from Atl Falcon in What is a contract mean in today's NFL?
Apologies mods if this is not the right place for this discussion.
But I've gotta ask the board's opinion on something that's been bothering me for some time and it has to do with star players' contracts. This Jamal Adams situation just brought it to the fore and the league needs to address this quickly in my opinion.
When did it become OK to just be 'publicly unhappy' with the contract you signed and want a new one or else you're not going to play? This player demanding trade situation needs to be stopped immediately. Honestly, any team that trades for a player that makes public declarations should automatically lose a future 1st round pick in addition to any trade consideration.
Wanting to renegotiate an existing contract also ruffles my feathers, but to a much lesser degree... How does a GM build stability in this era?
