  1. They all can run and cover. But if we can get Trevathan in FA and put him in the middle, that would eliminate Perry. I believe Lee and Cravens go late 1st to early 2nd. That leaves Jones who I don't think will get out the 2nd rd. Especially after the combine. He would fit perfect in the mid range of rd 2 and in Quinn's fast and physical style of play.

I posted this in draft/FA thread.

  2. First off I think Adams won't be here next year. So we'll need a new CB. With the hiring of Webster and Henderson, look for Coty Sensabaugh and Sterling Moore at CB.

Webster drafted Sensabaugh and Henderson coached Moore. Webster also drafted Zach Brown. But coach Smith coached Danny Trevathan. So you have Sensabaugh, Moore, Brown, and Trevathan.

But the question is do you lean towards the former GM who drafted Sensabaugh and Brown, or the coaches in Henderson and Smith who had hands on coaching every day with Moore and Trevathan?

  3. Joshua Perry

    Deion Jones

    Darron Lee

    Sua Cravens

  4. Went in for Beckwith, stayed for Jones. Holy crap, this dude is good. Where do people get off mocking him in the 4th and 5th? Don't be surprised if he posts a 4.5 40 and is a 2nd round pick (ideally ours).

Really though, he reminds me of Kwon Alexander (who I also liked a lot last year), but he actually looks even better. Covers really, really well. Since Myles Jack is a pipe dream I think we should look hard at making him a Falcon. He goes so hard, so fast, elite change of direction. Seriously, once this guy diagnoses a play he comes in like a rocket. And this is just his first year starting? Talk about huge potential.

Everyone says Will LB when they look at him, but I think he could actually play in the middle. That's what Alexander is doing in Tampa now. Wagner isn't exactly massive. If he puts on a little more weight (not too much) he'll be just fine. Willing to initiate contact and shed blockers, biggest issue I really have is that he seems to miss tackles more than I'd like. But that's definitely coachable.

    Thoughts?

I am starting to think if we want him we will have to take him in the 2nd. Don't think he will last half way through the 3rd.

  5. Very very solid from a draft standpoint.

I cant get on the Curry bandwagon. I feel like if we took him in FA then we'd also need to take a DE in the draft as well.

Also, how do you think Trevathan would fare outside of a 34?

Trevathan has played all 3 LB'er spots so he should be good.
