  1. Is that counting Brees' 1st year when he had no starts?
  2. We need to actually hit on our picks. McGary, Lindstom, Hennessy, Mayfield.. all drafted round 1-3
  3. Mayfield and Dalman did anyway...you are right about that
  4. Very well thought out argument and quite possible.. thanks
  5. Besides Julio and Mack, it's not really gutted. Safeties are better imo as are RBs
  6. All starters played together (some more than others) with their new coach, all I was trying to say
  7. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://theeagleswire.usatoday.com/2021/08/12/philadelphia-eagles-starters-offense-preseason-steelers/amp/&ved=2ahUKEwjXiNjtz4bzAhXBFVkFHQVSBg4QFnoECCgQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1Z-3Uo7W4t6f_b4KMcEDhZ&ampcf=1
  8. I'm not laying the blame on just game speed. Playing together in a new system. Oh well, nothing we can do about it now
  9. 12 penalties doesn't help anything either... again, sloppy play
  10. Ok, I think we can all admit that our team as a whole looked lost last Sunday. Is it the players, the coaching, or just a bad day? My thoughts keep going back to preseason and the lack of starters actually playing. I realize preseason is also a time to scout bubble players like Dorian Etheridge, Tajae Sharpe, and Avery Williams and see what they got. I also am aware of potential injuries and wanting a healthy team to start the season. BUT... Are we more apt to get injured if we are not in "game shape?" This is a whole new scheme, new coaching staff, new philosophy, many new players. Practice is just that, practice. Ask Allen Iverson lol. If we were running the same offense for 3 years, I get not wanting to risk MR2 injury, but we're not. In my opinion, the lack of preseason play crippled our chances to get out to a good start. Pitts tired on the 1st drive? Maybe, maybe not. Offensive line looked absolutely lost playing together (or apart) and the Eagles didn't change a dang thing. Some may say a route tree is a route tree. Nobody on offense or defense was on the same page. Hopefully we worked on some things this week and I suspect we'll get better as the season progresses, but I believe some of these lumps were avoidable, though some may disagree
  11. Disagree. They call it "game shape" for a reason.. you just don't get that kind of conditioning in training camp. Breaks, no pads sometimes, not hitting, etc
  12. Ohhh... the next coming of Grady!!!! I meant Grady Jackson, not Jarrett 😂
